Surrounded by Glenn Beck

As we know, Glenn Beck is rallying his fellow Doom Bunker paranoiacs to figuratively “surround us.” Thers observes:

You know, I totally get why yoking the GOP to Limbaugh makes sense, politically. But the truth is, 21st Century Conservatism is Glenn Beck — and his pal Chuck Norris, famed kickbigot, who says, “tounge n’cheek” (very sic), that he wants to be President of Texas, because treason is always amusing. (And yes, forcible secession is actual treason, as opposed to, say, thinking the war in Iraq was a stupid idea.)

    Mr. Beck seems to be loosing what is left of his mind daily on tv.It is soooo opportunistic of fox to televise it, ya know it will be used to show how liberals, black presidents, socialism, communists, the dying of St. ronnie regan, and whatever they will throw-to-see-if-it-sticks have conspired to send Beck to the Mental health service system.I hope fox news has good mental health benefits, it seems several of its news/comedians will be using it soon, that is if they don’t have strokes/heart attacks fighting SOCIALISM, COMMUNISTS, and other non conservative right wing republican aagendas.

    Beck is hysterical. Literally. He is hallucinating enemies everywhere.I live in Florida so I have been surrounded by idiots for a very long time so Beck’s threats are nothing new. He should be worried that a majority of the idiots here decided to vote for the black guy because he promised to fix the economy while McSame promised more of the same.Actually, the idiots that surround me are really not very much like Gloomy Beck the psychotic and delusional idiot. They don’t live in Doom Bunkers and while many of them are Rednecks and/or Racists, they really don’t bother anybody. If there are any like Beck, they stay well hidden (in their doom bunkers I guess).So if Beck thinks he has us surrounded, then why is *he* the one in the Doom Bunker?Also, how does any bunch of cowards hiding in doom bunkers pose a threat to me?     Nah, GunsGermsandSteel…Contrary to popular belief…it’s YOU who is surrounded. Frankly, most liberals and those like me who are “left-of-center” basically agree with Beck’s Nine Principles of Americanism. The whole thing is over how you interpret those principles. If Beck weren’t using this as a basis to overthrow the legitimately elected leadership of the United States (which, BTW, is treason–witnessed by more than two witnesses as required in the Constitution), he’d be dead-on.YOU’RE surrounded, GGG, because we’re sick of cowboy policy. You’re surrounded because the Beckians miscalculate their own numbers. And if Beck really was planning an armed insurrection, he’s a horrible general for announcing his battle plan. Really.Better luck next time…yeah, right.

    My spirit is weary and I feel like we’re losing. The president hasb’t even reached the 100 day landmark and these extremists are talking about shredding the country to bits. Their insane paranoia is going to unleash a groundswell of violence and I can’t figure out how to stop it..Right now I beyond depressed.QT

    QT -It may have already started. The shootings in Alabama are suspicious in that we aren’t getting any news from there anymore.I’m only concerned that more of those sorts of incidents may be in our future. At which point Beck, Limbaugh and whoever else should be arrested for instigating unrest leading to violence.The only armed insurrection that Chuck Norris can lead will be the movie version. Beck can’t lead himself out of a convenience store without one of his handlers showing him the way.
