The Next Republican Leader

by Lee Stranahan

You should not only watch this but you should share it with your friends.

Also, unrelated to politics - my Huffington Post piece / video on director Kevin Smith is up. But watch that first link, first.

Oh my! And all those years when she was on SNL we thought she was just acting like a brain-dead idiot.

  • Kansasdem

Holy shit! That’s bat-shit crazy to the nth degree!Of course I see Chuck Norris is joining with Glenn Beck in suggesting secession or an actual coup!

  • eve

I couldn’t even watch the whole thing. So has Fox decided to completely bury the GOP by having the nuttiest of the nuts on the air?Maybe Rupert wants his own political party.

Wow. I’m actually kind of speechless after witnessing that display. All I can say is, if this is what Sean Hanity wants to put out there to make his case, then more power to him. I want to see Victoria Jackson out there every night on the Hanity show. How soon before his viewership plummets if it were the Hannity & Jackson show?…wow…Also, I don’t know who’s crazier, Jackson or Hannity?

  • Lexaburn

Yeah, I skimmed the cable channels the other night and saw this has-been carrying on. She’s quite boring to listen to, quite frankly. This is like dignifying a single moron from those Palin/McCain rallies during the election, something I refuse to do. En masse, these flakes provide an example of the ignorance that enables the GOP. Individually, these morons uttering prattle isn’t noteworthy. It’s not surprising that the vain prick, Sean Hannity, was flattering the idiot. He makes a living providing these ignoble people with delusions of grandeur.

Is there anyone on the left that’s anywhere near as loony as these guys? They get paranoid about stuff that’s totally unsubstantiated, while all our fears about Bush and Co. get CONFIRMED.

  • jiffypop

D-i-s-t-u-r-b-ing by this disturbed woman surrounded by disturbed fox people even disturbed…is really ahh disturbing…Victoria J. seek medical help immediately – that foaming of the mouth may mean you are rabid..

Yeah. After you get over the comedic factor, you can get really really sad… it seems obvious that she’s not playing with a full deck – there may be some sort of disability. Either that or she only knows how to act like her former character in order to get attention. Whatever the case, that felt like Fox News exploiting her, and I don’t feel any better about that than I did watching Rush Limbaugh mock Michael J. Fox.QT

Want to hear something scary? Letters to the editor in my local paper are just as loony. I think they get form letters from faux and scratch their X on it before sending it in.

This is like dignifying a single moron from those Palin/McCain rallies during the election, something I refuse to do.Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

  • NorCalNative

There are people who oppose the Obama administration that should make some of us nervous. Victoria Jackson doesn’t qualify on this count and is about as edifying as a popcorn fart.

  • LongLiveTheFighters

But seriously, how far away is she from pushing four tandem grocery carts of paper bags and junk down the side of the street?

  • http://www.broadwaycarl.blogspot.com Broadway Carl

Either that or she only knows how to act like her former character in order to get attention.

QT – I really don’t think it’s a character. What you see is ehat you get.

  • D. C.

Sorry, Bob. I couldn’t listen to Jackson talk when she was reading words other people wrote for her on SNL. Now that her career is over, she’s trying to be a pundit? I’ve tried watching her babble on about Obama before and my brain nearly imploded. I can’t watch that video.

  • D. C.

Oops. I should have addressed that to Lee, not Bob.My bad.

  • jiffypop

QT – You are good to strike the common humanity chord.Fear based delusions are very real to those whose suffer from them, and should not be exploited/reinforced on television as political gaming – sad awful. The far right is a poor support group for such fearful neurosis – like the elder lady with mussed hair in red shirt who stood up at a McCain rally shaking out the words “heeeeee’s ah ah ah a muslim.” (Later satired on SNL-and was very very sad funny). That is V.J. future without intervention by sane friends.
