Turkey Sandwich Love

Back on Thanksgiving Day, I posted my recipe for “A Turkey Sandwich We Can Believe In” (aka. The Obama). It’s nice to get e-mails like this one:

Bob,

My wife, Alice, had ACL reconstruction on her right knee a month ago. Nine days later she fell, fracturing the patella in the same knee, and underwent further surgery . Since she has been laid up, I have been doing the ” cooking “, which usually means take- out. I was looking through my bookmarks when I came across ” A Turkey Sandwich We Can Believe In “. Alice, who is very persnickity about her food, proclaimed it “The best sandwich I’ve ever had.” Thanks for brightening her day.
