Worst Person

Greg Gutfeld, one of several guys on FOX News with a gigantic bulbous forehead, said yesterday:

…Mr. Gutfeld said the Canadian military “wants to take a breather to do some yoga, paint landscapes, run on the beach in gorgeous white capri pants.”

“Isn’t this the perfect time to invade this ridiculous country?” he said. “They have no army.”

[...]

“I didn’t even know they were in the war. I thought that’s where you go if you don’t want to fight — you go chill in Canada,” he said.

Also yesterday: the bodies of four Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan were honored with a procession along the Highway of Heroes. 116 Canadian soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan.

Adding… Gutfeld isn’t a Huffington Post blogger. He hasn’t written a damn thing for Huffington in years. So he should take it off his bio. However I though it was hilarious when he wrote about me: “The only thing creepier than Bob Cesca, is a picture of Bob Cesca.”

Up here in Canada this has become kind of a big deal.My father was in the RCAF for 25 years and another 10 with CSIP not to mention countless(goddamn Roman Catholics!) cousins and uncles serve presently from the Golan Heights, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bosnia and of course the honor of working next to our Governor General. We are a small but highly professional force that is used primarily for peace keeping not creating wars of aggression(war crime by the way).Personally I don’t believe that we should be in Afghanistan as we are basically helping George HW “Poppy” Bush secure more funds for more wars.

Payback has already started. Doug Benson was supposed to perform in Edmonton April 2 to 5.CANCELED!Some of the troops he says he didn’t know were fighting in Afghanistan are from Edmonton.

“The only thing creepier than Bob Cesca, is a picture of Bob Cesca.”Credit where it’s due, that is a pretty good burn.

I can’t blame Doug Benson too much. He’s clearly not the instigator, and a comedian’s got to work…Still, he might think twice about how much he wants to make money saying douchy shit on such a douchefest of a show.

I love how conservatives honor military service in combat(see Max Cleland). They love military service when they are chilling in the National Guard getting drunk/fight the cold war.

Anyone who says, “The only thing creepier than Bob Cesca, is a picture of Bob Cesca,” has never been to that S&M club in Jersey where everyone wears a very lifelike rubber Bob Cesca Mask.

What a bunch of effing losers. I want a show dammit. I want a show where me and my comedian friends make fun of people that put themselves in harm’s way. It looks like any schmuck can get one at FOX. Where the eff is my effing show?P.S. I particularly loved the bit from the other gay dude that pretty much said we should be proud that (by his description) we live in a police state where the cops are scared to walk the street without body armor and tanks, but the Canadians should feel wimpy for having a peaceful society where the mounties are not afraid of the populace. Great job douchebag.

First, I grew up 21 miles from Canada, if you crossed Lake Erie by Erie, PA. Many of our summer friends hailed from Canada. They were master partiers, horse shoe throwers, singer, poets, and hosers. Those were some of the best time, ever.Who ever this bulbous-headed nothing is, is meaningless to me. I pay zero attention to them anymore…..they are irrevelent, and I only watch Stewart, Colbert, Maddow, and KO.In closing, I think your pic on Huffblows is cute!!!

While on board the USS Nashville during a NATO combined arms manouevre, my battalion, 2RCR, was sitting within the Amtrack assault vehicles waiting to go ashore, and someone started up “Barrett’s Privateers.” Soon 150 Canadian soldiers’ voices were belting out the song. It spooked the U.S. Marines like nothing I’ve ever seen before.—Ronald Parker, Frederictonhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-PQbdmQRwc

Wow, how surprising. Another right wing loud mouth who never served in the military disparaging a military force and advocating invasion of somewhere.

  • prcleburne

Any Motherfucker who wants to dare diss the Canadian army needs to read about the Korean war and the role of the Canadian units who fought there ( such as the unfortunately named ” Princess Pats “.Go to hell, Gutfeld.( I am not a Canadian ).

  • Mescalero

Not to mention both world wars. We were in the muck in WW2 2 years before the US joined, with the 3rd largest Navy in the world

The Chinese had managed to infiltrate the brigade position by the morning of 23 April. The Australians and Canadians were facing the whole of the Chinese 118th Division. Throughout 24 April the battle was unrelenting. It devolved, on both fronts, into hand-to-hand combat with bayonet charges. The Australians, facing encirclement, were ordered to make an orderly fall back to new defensive positions late in the day of 24 April. 2 PPCLI was completely surrounded. Captain Mills, in command of D Company, 2 PPCLI, was forced to call down artillery fire on his own positions on Hill 677 several times during the early morning hours of 25 April to avoid being overrun. It had to be resupplied by air drops during this desperate time[3]. By dawn the Chinese attack on the Canadian position had abated, and in the afternoon of 25 April the road through to the Canadians had been cleared of Chinese, at which time the 2nd Battalion was relieved.Wikipidia 2PPCLI at Kapyong to find out why the Commenwealth Brigade was surrounde.
