On Governor Perry’s watch, Texas has received the most federal funds of any state for disaster relief — quite literally redistributed wealth “from Nebraskans and Virginians and New Yorkers and Alaskans with their Eskimo poetry.”

Further quoting President Bartlet: “Can we have it back, please?”

    I love that episode. I have it semi-permanently saved in my DVR. My mother was treated to listening to it over the phone–not the whole thing but the quote above and leading up to it.Yup, the Perry types look pretty dumb now, as we knew they would. Whoa, crime, boy howdy (or whatever it was Gov. Ritchie said at the play that was so…dumb.
