I await with baited breath the video…the audio…the rampant and divergent perspective. My tomorrow is an Easter basket of yummy.Color me impatient.

I won’t have a chance to check the internets again between now and 6. Hopefully this thread will act as a running Failstravaganza highlights reel throughout the day.

Talked with a co-worker who is taking today off to go to one of the “tea parties.” What the hell is he protesting? I asked. He was crisp in his response (he was a former Marine officer). Here’s the beef with the teabggers, according to Cap’n Tea Partier:Two presidents, 8 months, $12 trillion in debt;”Corporate welfare” has corrupted the political parties and hands the bill to the “little guy;”A tax code so complicated the average Joe the Plumber can no longer understand it;A media so biased it cannot function as an honest broker of information; Not everyone is a “socialist;” Something about France. And a few things I missed. Anyway, it appears to be a basket of bile, if you were wondering.

Lost in all the teabag douchery is some genuine concerns about the bailout programs. Dr. Elizabeth Warren, head of the TARP congressional oversight panel always is a good one to listen to. She was on Morning Joe, so I watched. My head didn’t explode and my hair did not ignite, because Joe asked smart questions and let her talk about the research the panel is doing on bank failures and rebuildings of the past. All were incredulous (as am I) as to the lack of firings of bank heads, which seems to be a part of successful recoveries in the past.

Just remember, kids:Liberals protest unjust, preemptive wars and the erosion of civil liberties. Conservatives protest a 3 point increase in the top marginal tax rate and the perceived erosion of one civil liberty.

Okay, not funny. I want to escape from all of this madness, and the letter of the day on Sesame Street today is (I kid you not): T.

Jenski – at least they didn’t say “T as in Teabag” along with demonstrations and graphics.

Can’t wait to see and hear the crowd estimates. Especially Fox’s “estimates.”

As Tracey Chapman would say: “Don’t you know, talking ’bout a revolution sounds like a whisper?”These fools are screaming that the sky is falling and seem to have no recollection that they supported those whom actually knocked the sky down. Also, it seems to me that most of these suckbags can’t even come to an agreement as to why they are actually “tea-bagging”My guess is that if they were honest, they would admit that they want Obama to be the fall guy. They want to hold him accountable for the destruction left from Bush’s two terms.

I just hard on MSNBC that turnout to Tea Tantrums has so far been measured in the hundreds at each.
