    Bob, you’re bringing up baaaaaaaaaaaaaddd memories with this one and I hope it is not a precursor of things to come.I clearly remember hearing this song for the very first time when I was really sick from the flu. My brother was playing this album (is that what we still call them) at full blast. I was in my room feeling about as poorly as I’ve felt before or since. I was out cold for about 18 hours from the night before. It’s about 5:30 on this totally depressing day in February of 77. I hear all this racket coming out his room. You’ve got to hand it to the power of music. Everytime I hear that song it takes me back to that day and when I am feeling pretty sick, this is the song that is playing in the soundtrack in my mind.I’m hoping this isn’t some kind of weird sign that the swine flu is my future…Damn you!

    Awesome!!I didn’t know there was video of the infamous flight of the pig!Here’s some trivia for all you Floyd fans. The version of “Pigs on the Wing” in that video is a rare combination of parts 1 and 2 that was only featured on the 8 track version of “Animals.” And that’s Snowy White playing the guitar solo, not David Gilmour. White toured with the Floyd in the 70s.

    Love me the Floyd! During the 90s I bought tickets for my husband’s birthday to see them in WPB. They were so good, we traveled to Tampa the following weekend to catch them there. Very jealous of all who saw the original members on tour! :)
