Parks and Socialists

I wonder how many tea baggers will be protesting against “socialism” while gathering at publicly financed parks and outside publicly financed buildings — you know, socialist facilities that wouldn’t exist without taxes and wealth redistribution. In Georgia, for example, almost every single tea bag event is taking place at a county courthouse, at a park, at a town square, at a city hall and so forth.

Socialism huzzah!

Im looking forward to Stewart and Colbert making complete asses out of the crowds today.Someone should ask the teabaggers if they would mind to do without the fire department and police department. Those darned government funded socialist programs.

With all of this anti-Obama rhetoric and bullshit on FOX News this afternoon, they’re gonna have to throw buckets of ice water on Roger Ailes to prevent him from being permanently aroused.

One of my favorite examples comes form my own little hometown. One socialist ‘luxury’ we enjoy comes in the form of a tiny little property tax that covers AMBULANCE RIDES!! Yessiree. Ambulance rides are incredibly expensive, but in my community, it’s 100% covered. I’ve never had the need to call an ambulance or ride in one, but I for one am supremely happy to pay my share since insurance doesn’t cover it here in OK.

I’m wondering how many teabaggers are cops and firemen.

My favorite is the one in Macon (about an hour south of Atlanta) where the Tea Party is being held in a public park, across from city hall, named for Rosa Parks.Given the white supremacist presence which will probably be visible in decent numbers today, I thought that was fairly ironic…

And for all of the bitter bible thumpers in the crowd supporting the 1% who dump all over them I am happy to remind them of Jesus’ redistribution of those loaves and fishes at the sermon on the mount. How socialist can a Messiah get folks ?

Browsing the photos along these lines, a great teabagger sign: “Cut taxes, not defense!”These idiots want everything paid for… by someone else. Keep up the great work, geniuses!

I attended the teabagger protest in Syracuse today… at the Federal Building. There’s another one later on at Onondoga Lake Park (a county park which receives Federal funding). I’m amazed that there isn’t someone that volunteered to let the protesters do so on their own property so that these protests could be privatized.
