Since Sanford can only request the funds, people across SC have been in overdrive trying to get him to take the $ but he’s too stubborn to.I try to take the MSM in stride. The real problem with them is that they (not even the apparently centrist CNN) will give it to viewers straight. With the MSM it’s not getting the story right, it’s getting it first. And this way of life for them is killing their cred.

I’m not entirely sure how Sanford justifies this to his people and actually thinks this will somehow advance his political standing.
