There are, in fact, toad lickers. The kind of toad with the halucinogenic properties is common in Utah. I don’t know how to tell which ones to lick. Many frogs have this property also There was a story and a video on youtube a couple of years ago about a family dog that got addicted to licking the frogs from a duck pond the family had in the back yard. It was a funny video. You might find it by search for “toad licking dog” or “frog licking dog”. They couldn’t get the dog to stop licking the frogs. They tried to keep him inside and he whined until they let him out. The dog had a hard core frog licking addiction. I wouldn’t have believed the story if they hadn’t provided the video. The story was incredible.

Oh, Git, you always manage to make me laugh.I wouldn’t know which toads or frogs to lick either. I imagine I’d get exhausted trying to catch them, and just give up. I already have…such is life, I guess.But a dog? I’ll have to look for that vid.
