    I have to hand it to Shep Smith. He’s the only person on Faux Noise with half a brain — remember his reporting from NO after Katrina?

    I simply do not understand Shep Smith.He works for a network that exists only to advance the cause of the GOP/far-right wingers. FOX “News” continually distorts the facts and does its utmost to ensure that its viewers are ill-informed and manipulated by powerful corporate interests.But, with some regularity, Smith says or does something that demonstrates that he is actually a very decent human being.I really don’t get it.

    Shep has moments of clarity. When he completely wakes up, like Jon DuPre did when he chucked his former employer, FOX, and participated in the documentary: Outfoxed, we may see an addition to the Truth-telling among us.
