McAuliffe dispatched 60 staff members and 38 volunteers, many arriving more than a day early, to erect 25,000 signs extending 20 miles.

    Wow…what a gigantic jackass McAuliffe is. I couldn’t stand him during the primaries and this is just another reason to vote for someone else. Dick move Terry!

    Not only does he come across like an asshole, but to the extent that yard signs are in any way a productive use of one’s resources (doubtful), using this many is counterproductive. Watching this video, my eyes are naturally drawn to any sign that isn’t light blue.This is the type of genius strategy that only come out of 1) unsupervised high-school student government elections (coincidentally, the kid who pulled a similar stunt got his ass kicked), or 2) the mind of a guy who presided over the derailing the seemingly unstoppable Hillary-train.

    This is what we do here in ole Virginny. I’m not sure if this was at their debate or at the yearly shad planking.It’s always a big competition to see who can put up the most signs.Sounds nuts but it’s a long held tradition here.

    Jan is right — this is par for the course in any election here in the Old Dominion. We recently had a special election for county supervisor in my county in Northern VA; three candidates, but probably about 1000 signs of various colors within 2 blocks of a major thoroughfare.Of course, that’s the kind of thing that turns many of us Virginians off — that, and carpetbaggers like McCauliffe appears to be…
