A reader sent along the following very disturbing comment from Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project website:

These are the kinds of maniacs who hear calls for battle — calls to be “armed and dangerous” — calls to “drive stakes through the hearts of bloodsuckers” — and take them literally. Beck has to know that his audience includes these sorts of militant jingoists with itchy trigger fingers. And therefore, he has an obligation to be more responsible with his crazy show. Meanwhile, I seriously hope the FBI and Secret Service are keeping an eye on “bulldogusmc”.

UPDATE: The Glenn Beck people have rightfully removed the comment, and “bulldogusmc” is claiming now that he never threatened the president or members of Congress.

    Wow, I just got a little stupider by reading some of the comments on the Beck link. These “real Americans” are advocating voting should not be a right, but a privilege, suggesting an age minimum of 30 to be able to vote (because you know, we all have more common sense at 30) and still saying the vote was stolen by ACORN.That bulldog quote is very scary and also interesting. I imagine there are crazies willing to go that extra step in every type of protest, but telegraphing it in this manner is incredibly stupid. Let’s really pay attention on April 15th and see if some of these protests 1 – become violent, 2 – if that violence is covered and 3 – if it gets to the point where law enforcement has to come in, how soon the spin will come from the right that we’re no longer allowed to “peacefully” protest because the evil Obama has made our country a police state.

So long as they give him air time, they are the ones responsible. I’m all for changing the WAY we do government, but I’m certainly not for changing our government. I just don’t like the corruption, the legalized bribery, while individual citizens are sold out for special interests.We don’t need a “revolution” for that. We need to demand term limits, and we need to demand that no special interest group nor lobbyist be allowed to make a party or campaign contribution in any form.     Investigating these morons posting on beck’s site should be happening, but it will be done by law enforcement -secret service specifically for threats against the President – not NSA. NSA is for collecting foreign intelligence and until the bushies and hayden decided the laws don’t apply to them we were prohibited from spying on US Persons without a warrant and still it wasn’t for law enforcement (no, I didn’t know about the illegal programs while I worked fro NSA).
