We’ll Take Them

Rush Limbaugh and his listeners suggested today that Specter take Senator and Meghan McCain with him.

Smart! Scare away more Republicans with your collective crazy.

Adding… Limbaugh also seemed to dig the idea that “liberal Republicans” were leaving the party. Is he seriously excited about this? He’s calling this a “natural winnowing process.” Yeah. The party’s sounding more and more like Limbaugh, and it’s clearly suicidal. Also, in this particular rant, Limbaugh uses “Democrat Party.” Childish crap like this from the party leadership can’t be helping.

Or one could just tell Wimpbaugh to shut the hell up for once.Shit, he’s doing more harm to the party than McCain and Specter ever did.Fat idiot.Regarding the senators, at least they’ve actually done shit (not all of it good, I know) besides run their damned mouths.

yup….I go walk the dog…and wow…Spector Defects::::So here is the Dumbass Repug Quote of the Week about the Defection::::”This is not a national story. It is a Pennsylvania story,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters in a news conference following Tuesday’s GOP policy luncheon.”~~~~~~~~~~~~(for me I think he defected because of the Health mess this week- which can make the Repugs Look even worse- and the upcoming 2000 Torture photos that are about to be released that forever will link Bush and Bush Repugs to Torture and War Crimes…..who would want that part of their political legacy ???)

I say to fellow moderates, “welcome.”From Webster’s dictionary:Liberal: (my selections of definitions given.)marked by generosity : openhanded; given or provided in a generous and openhanded way; broad-minded ; especially : not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or traditional forms. To some on the left, “liberal” means a certain set of beliefs;I accept the label “liberal” not because I think it’s a mortal sin to vote for or believe in some of the ideas which are traditionally Republican, but rather because of the definitions above. And PPP, if you are reading this, I noticed you are in a merry mood today, and no wonder.

Republicans deny reality for the 99th day in a row.Keep digging your pit deeper you fascist gumbies. You are going to be down there a very long time.In other News:Why does the News Media hate factual accuracy? They have been asked numerrous times by the CDC to stop calling the ‘N1H1 Flu’ the ‘Swine Flu’ since the N1H1 Flu is not the swine flu.The Criminal former President ‘W’ actually said something I agree with: Bush: War Crimes Will Be Prosecuted…It Will Be No Defense To Say, I Was Just Following Orders

I thought I heard something about Limbaugh making that stupid comment. Tweety just said they’re using this not so humorous play on words to describe Senator Arlen’s switch: “Swine Flew.” Conservative are so NOT funny.

  • Ady

    I meant, “Conservatives…”

  • Frateloder

Ain’t this fun!? Weeee!Maybe we could get even more greedy and hope he’s only the first to do this. I wonder if there are others in either chamber……..

  • AC

Sir Dennis Eaton Hogg might say the Republican appeal has “become more selective.”

“Republicans deny reality for the 99th day in a row.”You’re giving them way too much credit there. They’ve been denying reality since the 80s, they’re just reaching critical levels of insanity now.I fear this push of the Republicans moving even further to Crazyville. Eventually, they’re going to be so far to the right that they’re going to make George W. Bush look progressive. Perhaps this is their strategy, just go as far to the right as possible and paint any dissent as Che Guevara?

the more isolated the Rethugs get, Limbaugh just looms larger on the landscape. That’s all he cares about, his ratings, his bankbook, his egoic self-importance.

  • kansasdem

I heard on the car noise making machine radio thing that he even lumped Sam Brownback in there???????????Why Brownback? I mean he’s MR. the snowflake!I can only imagine it has to do with his promotion of prison reform, I dunno????????????

  • kansasdem

Oh this:”Somebody called, “How come you don’t talk about Brownback? You could really help Brownback if you talk about Brownback!” Look, Brownback is out there on the wrong side of the anti-war resolution. He’s doing some things here that have me scratching my head. He’s not a thoroughbred conservative, like I think he once was. But the point is it’s up to these guys to get noticed themselves! I’m not going to sit here and build these guys up. They gotta do it themselves. Does that make sense? I want to see if they can go out there and get themselves known and get themselves liked and get themselves some positive reaction and so forth, because the whole country is going to vote on them, not just me, and I’ve only got 20 million votes.”http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_020507/content/america_s_anchorman.guest.html

Senator Snowe (ME) does not sound happy:

On the national level of the Republican Party, we haven’t certainly heard warm, encouraging words about how they view moderates, either you are with us or against us, political diversity makes a party stronger and ultimately we are heading to having the smallest political tent in history for any political party the way things are unfolding.

  • kansasdem

Oh, and this:”Limbaugh also suggested that Specter and McCain also bring Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., over to the Democratic Party. It’s surprising to hear Limbaugh say that about Brownback, a solid social conservative, but it apparently had something to do with the senator’s support of the nomination of his state’s governor, Kathleen Sebelius, to be secretary of Health and Human Services.”http://www.salon.com/politics/war_room/2009/04/28/limbaugh_specter/index.html?source=rss&aim=/politics/war_roomWhat a douche!

Thus proving once again the value of free speech.Keep talking, Rush!

  • Ken129

Just sit back and laugh as it self destructs.

  • Ady

Seriously, Brownback? Huh?Ken129, it is quite entertaining, isn’t it?

SillyGit apes my setiments regarding the idiotic “swine flu” meme. They had no way of explaining what the hell the term even meant, and are spreading deliberate misinformation. It’s a virus no doubt, but it probaly has more to do with the disgusting habits of us humans than the swine.Besides, the “swine media” has no problem with spreading anything, hence their efforts to scare the hell out of everyone with the hyperbole.I tell you, it’s some curious shit going on this week. The dopey airplane stunt in the city, and this “swine flu” jibber-jabber…somethin’s up.
