Okay, my blogging has been sparse lately but I will say in my defense that I’ve been working a lot lately. The upside is that nobody in my family is going to starve for a few weeks, at least.

In the last day and a half, for example, I produced 10 new videos for Moveon,org – all variants on a theme about the recent failure some Democratic Senators to buck the banks and support our President’s call for mortgage reform . Here’s one about Bob’s senator.

    It looks good Lee. It gets right to the point. The only part I didn’t like was the snapshot of the guy holding his girl with the stuffed animal toward the end.Families are certainly effected by this, including ones with little girls and stuffed animals, but I dont feel comfortable when imagery of children is used to promote a purpose, no matter what the purpose is. When you do that it comes close to looking like something the GOP would churn out during a campaign.Thats the only thing I didn’t care for, the rest is good. Specter should be made to answer for it.

    Yeah. I like this one. Excellent Job Lee.I understand J M’s complaint but I agree with Broadway Carl. I do not think that a picture of a family is inappropriate since most of the people facing foreclosure are, in fact, families with children.

    I the universe of the greedy self-servatives, everyone facing foreclosure is a ‘LOSER.’Sick Rantelli says that the little girl is a freeloader and her Dad is a freeloading loser.I objected to those characterizations at the time. Lee’s characterization is the truth and helps undo the horrible misinformation from the corporatist propaganda mill.

    Actually, I have no idea who did the voiceover…I did a temp VO track to get the timing down on the edits and graphics and we went through a few revisions with that. Then after the intial template video was approved, they sent me AIFF files of the VO…
