    Why do never any of the current crop of genuinely awesome Brit bands show up in the awesomes?Like Elbow, Doves, Super Furry Animals, Porcupine Tree, The Week That Was, Field Music, No-Man, Arctic Monkeys, Everything Everything, Foals, Cooper Temple Clause, Oceansize, Pure Reason Revolution, Muse or fifty more?Or Prog/Post Prog and avant acts like The Mars Volta, The Dear Hunter, IQ, It Bites, Gazpacho, The Tangent, Ritual.Or great Pop acts like Roger Joseph Manning Jr (from Jellyfish) or Ryan Parmenter?Or electronic acts like Squarepusher or Uberzone?I’m just saying that the focus seems quite narrow and a little parochial. There’s so much more awesomeness out there.
