(Correction from last week: I accused Scarborough of throwing in with the Buchanan-Beck-Limbaugh-Gingrich crew on this racist crap, and I was clearly wrong. At the very least, Scarborough and O’Reilly are motivated by the political ramifications of opposing Judge Sotomayor using this line of attack.)

    Yes, remember, Joke is floating the idea of running for office again.. so he is at least toning it down some… not a lot mind you.. he still wants to be known as a conservative..ultra conservative at that.. so he has to be hard on Pres. Obama but he has to be very careful about everything else.. that’s why he wrote the book and is is throwing out all the ideas so he can help the Republicans make a big comeback in 2016 and he can run for President then.

    he’s got that staffer tragedy to deal with from when he was in congress. imagine the 24 * 7 news cycle on that one. They’ve made more with less that that story. I don’t think it would be fair, but he would have to expect it to be raised? I wonder what “uncle pat” would theorize on what happenned.
