    Excellent!I like the point about members of Congress having the insurance – this should be a point driven hard by the Dems. The very same people holding back reform have much better health care than you do.

    Wow…your friends knocked it out of the godamn park Bob.Another oft-overlooked point is that it’s not just the members of Congress who have public healthcare… members of the military (and their families) have government controlled/provided healthcare as well.A strange illustration – my insanely conservative dad used to get his healthcare through the government on an Air Force base; he still has that option, but he now works in the private sector, and chooses to purchase private coverage through his employer instead. And of course, he is able to do so with no hassle from the AF. But this same guy is somehow against “socializing” the healthcare industry by instituting the public option…Even within my own family, sometimes I just sit back and marvel at the disconnect w/ reality.
