On July 7, 2007, at approximately 7:15 p.m. at Jefferson and M Street, Northwest, in Washington, D.C., defendant was walking down the street making offensive remarks when he encountered the complainant, Ms. [REDACTED], who is African-American. The defendant uttered, “Nigger,” as he delivered a karate chop to Ms. [REDACTED]‘s head.

Josh Marshall is reporting that the assailant, Marcus Epstein, works for both Tom Tancredo and Pat Buchanan, even though he pled guilty to the assault.

    Matt, who didn’t karate chop someone while uttering racial epithets when they were young? I’m just picturing little Tommy Tancredo, beating the crap out of Julio down by the schoolyard, screaming ‘wetback’ at the top of his lungs. Ahhh what a guy. SOOO glad he was my congressman.
