Franken Wins Supreme Court Ruling

The Minnesota Supreme Court has handed down its much-expected ruling in the heavily-litigated Minnesota Senate race from 2008 — and it’s a unanimous one — deciding against Republican former Sen. Norm Coleman’s appeal of his defeat in the election trial and affirming the lower court’s verdict that Democratic comedian Al Franken is the legitimate winner of the race.

Now it’s up to Pawlenty to certify the election and it’s Senator Al Franken (D-MN).

Lizard People: still sad.

    I never would have imagined Al Franken as the Republicans’ most feared Democrat……I was thinking the same exact thing, Curly. I can picture Franken calling out the hypocrisy on the Senate floor and in NO WAY using, “My distiguished colleague on the other side of the aisle.” maybe he’ll actually use the word “lie”! C-Span will now become MUST SEE TV!I think Rush Limbaugh’s head just exploded.Can you imagine what Bill O’Reilly is screaming right now?
