Exactly. If Scarborough was opposed to spending, why didnt he oppose Bush’s raiding of the US Treasury? That’s why it is empty. I’m glad to see Chris Mathews on board. He’s right; we gotta get it done. The Democrats have a better handle on what government is for: taking care of people by providing basic rights. Whereas the Republicans have touted the responsibility of the government is only to make laws. Usually, it seems, on morality. Rights versus Morality. Rights must be protected before moral judgements are thrown around. They need to take care of their own backyard there.

He’s the one that reduces you to a puddle of lipstick and highheels every day…not, Chris Matthews! Scarborough’s constant showing of that poll was really stupid. I was so glad when Matthews said “you keep showing those poll numbers but 76% of Americans want healthcare with a public option”. Scarborough doesn’t show polls that wreck his stupid arguments! It was nice to see this douchebag get a taste of his own medicine with Matthews screaming over him and constantly interrupting him!

I think one of the comments Tweety made that might have been lost in the shuffle but should be pulled out and get played over and over very LOUDLY is..The right wingers always find money to pay for their wars, but when it comes to something like this there is no money.I am paraphrasing that..but you get my gist.. that’s pretty close to what he said. Someone else said something like that a few days ago and I can’t remember who it was now. But it is true. We always find money for wars and for weapons for the war.. just now Congress is voting on putting money back in the Defense budget for the F-22′s that Bob Gates and the president cut because it is not needed or wanted anymore. I forget, something like $2 Billion put back in.. not enough I know but it’s the point.
