Shep’s not the only one. Here’s a sweet and thoughtful wingnut email I received:

You’re nothing more than the average run of the mill Communist. Of course you work in the “entertainment” industry, another liberal communist who doesn’t work hard for a living trying to tell “hard-working Americans” how to live. I would love to punch a guy like you in face, but the sad thing is that slime like you exists, so I have to live with that. Too bad the Cold War is over, you would have fit in well in Moscow.

    What a dickhole! Hard work is hard work, no matter what you do for a living. Geez. However, I bet this bozo thinks Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter or any of those other douchebags are nothing but hard working, conscientuous Americans, doing real hard work sitting behind their desks talking and writing books. Hating is hard work. LOL.

    Apparently Shep’s still got a year and a half left on his contract. I wonder if he’ll make it or if he’ll end up having a complete on-set meltdown complete with a pummeling of Glenn Beck. And now that I think about that….Hmmm…their spelling is getting better, Bob. Doesn’t matter though. Anytime you post a wingnut email, I still have the urge to yell, “FRO FREEDOM!!”

    I know they don’t like education and thinking for themselves, but can’t they pick up a dictionary? Why is that such a hard thing to do? If you are going to call someone something, shouldn’t you know the definition first? Of course, that would be thinking on their own, never mind.
