One of the minor irritations about the Palin / Letterman ‘controversy’ is how she keeps harping on Letterman as a ‘so-called comedian’. It makes her sound a harried fifth grade substitute teacher trying to figure out who took a dump on her desk during recess, as in ‘Which one of you so-called comedians did this?!?”

But the phrase ‘so-called’ comedian shouldn’t be used on — ya know — actual professional comedians. I don’t like Beck or Limbaugh but I don’t call them ‘so called talk show hosts’. They are, in fact, hosts of talk shows.

I can’t stand this ignorant bitch and as a woman I can tell you that the makeup she wears does appear to be that cheap drugstore bullshit that breaks out your skin with serious manly looking razor bumps! The way she’s trying to twist this by essentially calling Letterman a pedophile is truely repulsive and so is she. Palin is nothing but a media whoring, two bit, lightweight harpy with a famaily of grifters. Fuck off you Wasilla Hillbilly!

    By the way, I’m sorry for the early morning profanity but, I tuned into MSNBC this morning for an update on the elections in Iran and there was that dick Joe Scarborough hocking his BOOK! I immediately turend the channel. I was heartened yesterday when I read w separate comments posted on Media Matters regarding his book which, according to the 2 posts, is only number 81 in sales on amazon.com. That is certainly good news. Of cours, now he’s going to be on Meet The Press with Stretch, no doubt working his book into every topic. I will not watch. I can’t stnad that man and Meet The Press is droping in the ratings for a reason. It sucks. They should have hired Rachel Madow. Idiots!

    Lee,In the future, when I post about her, I think I’ll refer to Sarah Palin as a “so-called” governor or “so-called” politician.In her case, it’s certainly appropriate.

    As much as I want to throw my boot through my plasma when she pops onscreen, this really shouldn’t surprise any of us.In typical CheneyRepublican form, she has always gone a few steps even further in the exploitation of her family, her kids in particular, for her own so-called political gain.Dave absolutely WAS talking about Bristol, the daughter that SARAH put center stage as an unmarried underage pregnant accessory. But even that was probably poor taste for a guy of his caliber, and with his soapbox. But it would have been forgotten by the next night IF Sarah wanted it to.But no, that tingling in her ticklespot means only one thing, a return to the blinding glare of a 15minute stopwatch, reset again.So she bravely tosses her 14 ear old daughter down upon the puddle of the dredges of, who happen to make up the majority of, our media – all to keep her SLUTTY heels clean.This is beyond low.Her attempts to spin this would be comedic, if it were not for Dave being in the crosshairs. I’m sure that if all he had to do each appearance was regurgitate a 2.5 minute sales pitch about a gas pipeline, or..ya know…honestly answer what magazines he reads…I’m pretty sure he could do that every single weeknight without occasionally insulting someone.

    Another thing that someone on another board brought up, a good point I thought. I do remember Obama saying a few times in interviews that he doesn’t think people should criticize wives/families, but didn’t he specifically say “Family is Off limits” when reporters were asking him about SARAH PALIN?! He was defending her twit ass. So I guess since she feels like her family is up on a cross, the press did not obey the “candidate who shall be obeyed”.

    It’s really amazing. Where was all this outrage when late-night hosts were cracking Britney, Lindsay, (insert woman here) jokes? The idea that Sarah Palin actually cares about women is such an insult that I can’t even stand it. Hey Sarah! Pretty sure the young women in your state would happily be joked about as long as they had resources to take care of themselves. Nice to see where your priorities lie! (not that i’m surprised, but that the media is letting this roll out in this way–oh wait, that’s not surprising either! Bastards!!)

    Vast numbers of Alaskans, mostly people like us (liberals), have been calling Ms. Palin the GINO. Therefore so-called governor is appropriate.I would take it a step further and call her the alleged governor since I see little evidence to support the assertion that she actually serves as governor. This alleged mother, alleged governor, alleged human named Sarah is a plague on our society.I agree with roxsteady.     Another fun factoid…John Ziegler (the RW tool whose radio show Palin was on when she was “informed” of Letterman’s jokes. He is the “media malpractice” documentary dude who goes on MSNBC sometimes to call them the Obama network) was previously fired from his job for discussing his ex girlfriend’s genitals on the air. He claimed that his free speech was being infringed upon for the sake of political correctness.

    I think Failin’ Palin knows perfectly well Letterman wasn’t talking about Willow, but is using her daughter as an excuse to go on the attack because she’s angry about the “slutty flight attendant look” remark.

Pu-LEEZE!!!I taught English and writing and journalism to HS students for 30 years, and he couldn’t even pass the basics!’Course neither can Palin!! (Who did she have to “sleep” with to get her degree, anyway?)But my point is that I truly think that Zeigler is TOTALLY “HOT” for Palin!! He get aroused just talking about her on various shows. It is truly pathetic!And I mean that. I really think he’s in “lust/love” with the woman!!!
