Worst Person

Glenn Beck seems to really be cranking up the dickish insanity lately.

But this time, he criticized the president using a — cough — watermelon as a prop.

Adding… Whoever that other doof was — the guy who couldn’t decide whether to look at Beck or the camera — was entirely misleading about the EPA. He said with a straight face that the EPA report claimed that greenhouse gasses would increase under this new law.

The very liberal Wall Street Journal reported:

The EPA analysis doesn’t challenge the notion that greenhouse-gas emissions will fall, a central thrust of the bill.

And contrary to what the wingnuts have been saying, the EPA report also said that under cap and trade, energy bills would go down.

The EPA also reported that there would less demand for energy and the law would keep fossil fuel prices low. Oh crap! Less energy usage! Low fossil fuel prices! IEEEEE!

So the guy on Beck’s watermelon segment was implying that because there would be less demand for energy and lower fossil fuel prices, there would somehow be less incentive to develop green technology and therefore more greenhouse gasses. Yeah, I know. It’s ridiculous.

But anyway. Watermelon?!

I don’t know what Beck is doing anymore.. he has lost his mind completely. And how is his book #1 on the best seller list? That’s what I would like to know. How anyone can even stand to watch him is beyond me.. I just can’t stand to even listen to these clips most of the time.. he’s such a fool.

… he has lost his mind completely.

You can not lose something you never had.He wanted to use fried chicken as a prop but saw no way to get a green and red link. However, the Republican party is like fried chicken. It’s light brown on the outside but it’s solid white on the inside.

Remember that old Godfrey Cambridge movie, Watermelon Man? What I wouldn’t give for Beck to experience that. (I don’t mean watching the movie, I mean LIVING the movie!)

I have a friend who’s a huge fan of Beck and gets upset every time I make of him. I just get it. I don’t understand what the appeal of this man is. Even if I agreed 100% with his politics, Beck would still turn my stomach because he’s just so idiotic and such a babbling lunatic. Half the time, he doesn’t even make sense. The other half of the time, he just sounds like an elementary school kid on a sugar rush after drinking a case of Mountain Dew.

Can’t see the numbers on the phone? Is he still using a rotary dial? Please jeebus, take this idiot back to your bosom.

This is the totally ironic part. I’m SURE he got this from an episode of Greg Palast’s called”Rumble in the Jungle” about people suing the Chevron oil company in Ecuador. It is an almost verbatum analogy from one of the oil company’s lawyers. I was sent The “Palast Investigates” video last month by Mr. Palast’s office for being a steady donor.Surely, Mr. Beck is not pulling analogies from REAL investigative journalism to fit his own foam peanut agenda.
