Doucheborough

Joe Scarborough wishes for a serious NBC White House correspondent — with Chuck Todd listening from his post at the White House.

In my opinion, the entire practice of holding white house press conferences in front of the white house press corps is outdated and fruitless. If you asked me, I would say the entire thing has turned into a mob of wannabe journalists looking for gotcha answers to gotcha questions.

Doucheborough sticks his foot in his mouth again and THEN tries to say he was just joking. Chuck Todd had every right to bitchslap him. “We know YOU’RE not the best.” BAM!As far as the Helen Thomas thing, since when does the rest of that room of “journalists” act like they’ve always thought the best of Thomas and let her “go at it”? What a bunch of lying scumbags. If that were really the case, Helen would be getting the first question to Gibbs every day. They should all defer to her to ask the first question. Let’s see what happens.

Woooof! You can feel the embarrassment from Doucheborough. He can barely talk. Saying it was a joke, ain’t gonna cut it Joe!Doucheborough: Engage brain before opening mouth. Ooops, sorry . . . I forgot . . . that’s a tough one for you.

Personally, I like how the stenography pool has decided to ask questions after sitting there subserviently for eight years.

I watched a recent clip where they were not only asking real questions, but being rude in the process. My how times have changed.

Saw it when it aired & it was cringe-worthy to watch. There’s obvious animosity between those two, but it needn’t be played out on national TV – and have you noticed that whenever someone says something like Scarborough did & realizes it way too late, it’s always “a joke” and the fault then lies with the butt of said joke for not having a sense of humor? Same as the GOPers non-apologies – “if anyone was offended…”. Seems to be part of their mindset to not take any responsibility for their words or actions.

Carl Bernstein Johnson is right! The White House press gaggle seems more and more like a middle school lunch room. And there’s Chuck “The Goatee” Todd trying to defend asking the President questions about Michael Jackson to the guy who helped bring down the Nixon administration. Really, Chuck?

Exactly! They’re still pissed because Nico Pitney asked a real question as opposed to Major Garrett’s “What took you so long”? And the equally ignorant Chip Reid with “Did McCani’s critisism promt this tougher response”? To which the President replied “What do you think”? Clearly Chip Reid, Major Garrett, Jake Tapper and Chuck Todd would all be better suited working for TMZ or Enterrtainment Tonight! You’ve seen those vapid entertainment reporters ask questions to actors like George Clooney what he thinks of Brangelina or Tomkat. You know, ask one person what they think of another person instead of asking the person about themselves. I call it the, we couldn’t get Tom Crusie to comment so we asked Charllie Sheen what he thinks of Crusie. It’s very juvenile and shows a lack of real journalism credentials. And yes, I saw it when it aired and Scarborough is a douchebag for always going to the “it was a joke” mantra. His problem is that when Jon Stewart mocked his Starbucks promotion he resorted to calling Stewart short. What a pathetic beedie eyed asswipe he is. I can’t stand him and would love to see him fired. I’d say he probably came close when he imlied that some of his co-anchors on MSNBC had also cheated on their wives after Keith Olbermann went on the air with a dramatic and hilarious reading of Govenor Sanfords’s emails to his mistress. They should have fired his stupid ass then. Watch out Jethro! You may no be so lucky next time.

I have to agree that Joey Starbucks had a point on this one. When the only person at the presser who asks a serious question is a blogger from Huffingtonpost, none of the major networks has a serious White House correspondent.

I think Scarborough is incapable of admitting a mistake and sincerely apologizing for it. At least, I’ve never seen him do anything close to either one of those things.

“I’m sorry my comments were overheard”.Between dropping f-bombs on the air, and openly dissing a reporter fed into his studio, Joe Blows seems to have NO IDEA what’s going on within his own show. Upchuck Toad, feeling pooped upon, took Carl Bernstein’s criticism personally and overreacted to it, misplacing his anger. Nobody looked professional here. There’s enough whining, backbiting and humiliation here for a cheerleader camp election.
