    What a sad commentary that John McCain’s legacy will be that he foisted both Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber on us.

    Now if she would just get off her “I won’t speak about Sarah Palin” bullshit. Someone should tell Meghan that the fact that she won’t comment on that moron is actually proof that she too thinks Palin is an idiot. Who the hell does she think she’s fooling? The “If you don’t have anything nice to say about someone, don’t say is at all” is exactly the signal she’s sending. You can say it Meghan! SARAH PALIN IS IGNORANT!

    McCain said “Joe the Plumber” about 19 times in that debate. It wasn’t a coincidence. That whole thing was a setup from the word “go.”

    I wouldn’t doubt that her father thinks Joe the Plumber is a dumbass, too, but he specializes in using people as props for as long as he needs then throwing them away. Her comment really shows that, like her father, she’ll say anything to score a few points. She’s in Say Something-To-Please-Everyone mode. “Joe the Plumber is an idiot.” “Barack Obama should stop complaining about the mess left by W.” Wow! She almost sounds… mavericky!The only difference between her and her father right now is that she can’t go off and vote against legislation that she just promised to support.
