    That just made my day.

Jon you’re my hero. I have been waiting for someone to take the Beck unit down on healthcare reform using his own talking points with video proof as has been done on other subjects.

Glenn Beck (probly efficiently shortened to a single word “glenbek”) will soon enter the language as an all purpose term describing passionate belief in delusional fantasy. Sort of like Quisling, but with more nonsense.(n.) He’s a total farking glenbek.(v.) It’s a room full of people all glenbekking to beat hell.(adj.) That is some glenbekish bullshiat, right there.(adv.) They’re yammering glenbekkily.Eg. Michelle Bachmann is a total glenbek. She glenbeks every time she opens her mouth.

I always DVR the Daily Show and Colbert, and I just got done watching this. This was pleasantly amazing.I wish I could be a fly on the wall and watch this segment being crammed down Beck’s throat (figuratively speaking, of course).

As I watched that last night I couldn’t help but think how odd it was that, when Stewart played similar footage of Newt talking about how he favored end of life care legislation back in February along with Palin – I couldnt’ help but think that, last Sunday on This Week, that idiot Stephanopolous didn’t blow Newt’s fat ass off his chair with that very same clip? This is where the media is really fucking incompetent! I also noticed that on Morning Joe today the equally duplicitous Mika read some of the Op Ed written by Paul Krugman in the Times today about these bullshit death panels. What she didn’t read was the part about Palin supporting this very same legislation in Alaska back in April of LAST YEAR! What I’m really looking forward to is this Sunday’s Meet The Press because among the panelists is Rachel Maddow and Dick Armey. Let the bloodletting begin!

Perfect, “roxsteady.” Perfect. And Jon’s clip of the hypocrite hater Beck followed by Colbert’s Beck takedown last night were so satisfying!!I’ve posted Jon’s to my FB page. It’ll really piss my sister off. She ADORES Beck/Palin, etc. Hard to understand how we came from the same gene pool. She’s “scary” right. Doesn’t even read or research. Just believes what she hears from the idiots.

@Roxsteady-I Can’t wait until Sunday’s “Meet The Press”. This will be my first time watching since Mr. Russert passed.I’m praying this panel is on from beginning to end otherwise I’m not sure how I’ll keep from vomiting until the Rachel smackdown.

How do these regular Glenn Beck viewers NOT remember Glen Beck’s shows on his horrible experience with healthcare when they see him now talking about how awesome it is?? I would think that it is MUCH harder for us that do everything we can to avoid Glenn Beck to then go back and point out the hypocrisy than for someone who religiously (no pun intended) watches him? Yikes.

That’s the BEST explanation of Glenn Beck’s rhetoric that I’ve EVER heard. BRAVO Jon!!

I think it’s interesting to note that Beck’s “reporting” on the state of American health care when he was at CNN was the result of his own mistreatment by the system. To him it was a non-story until his own ass surgery was botched. Then it was newsworthy enough to devote entire shows to. And it would take another gross mistreatment of his person, another botched treatment or denial of service to Glenn Beck to get his attention again. The overwhelming evidence of thousands of Americans being denied coverage for questionable reasons doesn’t rise to a level of importance necessary for him to take notice. There’s no theatrics possible in supporting a plan and a President working to end such grievances, only in the portrayal of America as practically Socialist under a Marxist-loving president.

I, too, watch Stewart and Colbert the next morning and enjoyed both take-downs of this clown.

BTW, anyone know if the republican rep who told people to turn off the tv when beck comes on has apologized yet? I know he isn’t “the leader” like the fat drug addict, but he does seem to be picking up the support from loud and crazy towns.

If you haven’t read Joe Conason’s latest yet, give it a look: Winston Churchill was a Bolshevik.

THIS is why Stewart is the most respected newsman in America. And Stewart would be the first one to scoff at the label of “newsman” and he would lament how sad the news media is that people think he. Stewart, is the most trustworthy one of the bunch. Nevertheless, Stewart does an immense service by using his humor and intellect to expose things the MSM apparently can’t or won’t. Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert are national treasures.
