Mike Pence Continues To Be A Lying Liar

On Fort Worth television:

WANE-TV: “I do want to ask you about the health care bill – sort of a specific about it. Many people have heard that the Congress and the executive branch would be exempt from that particular plan. Is that true?

Rep. Pence: “Well, there was an amendment introduced in the Senate that said any member of Congress that voted for a government insurance option would be required to sign themselves and their families up for it. And the Democrat [sic] majority voted that down.” [WANE.com, 8/10/09]

First, eff him and his childish “Democrat” Party crap. Second, the amendment passed 12-11.

Expect Mr. Pence to appear on MSNBC for several days in a row repeating this very same lie.

    I just emailed that sack of sh*t and called him on this. I live in Indiana but not in his district, so fat lot of good it’ll do – mainly did it for my blood pressure spike. He’s more than a disgrace to all Hoosiers.

Ask him if there’s a literacy problem with him and some of his colleagues? When he shows up on MSNBC it would be nice if they asked this same question and then corrected his dumb ass and showed him the video of himself giving out false information. They should then ask him how he made it to Congress if he’s unable to read a bill and pronounce the word democratic. Of course, that won’t happen because the MSNBC daytime crew frequently has their heads up their asses and this punk bitch will never show up on Ed, Keith or Rahcel’s shows!

    By the way, Chris Matthews had a congressman from one of the Carolinas on, I can’t remember which. Anyway, he asked this Republican tool if the Dems remove the public option would he vote for it and he said yes. First of all, why the hell would the DEEMOCRATIC MAJORITY allow any preferences by Republicans in this bill? Especially the public option. Someone should explain to these idiots that when you win the election, you get to do what you told your supporters you would do. Not bow to a party of mostly old, white Southerners who voted for McCain. Who gives a shit what they’d like to be in the bill. They are the Party of Saltines and THEY LOST!

    Hey Rox-tell that-why the hell would the DEEMOCRATIC MAJORITY allow any preferences by Republicans in this bill? Especially the public option- to Obama, Reid, Emanuel, Messina. Blue Dogs etc.WE’VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR MONTHS. But we have to be BI partisian of course.

    @Jan: really just tell the Blue Dogs, who got a boost from the enthusiasm for Obama’s campaign and are now pissing on his agenda. If they were on board, we’d be done already. It’s not about appeasing Republicans, it’s about getting a bare minimum of votes. That’s why reconciliation is on the table now–because it’s become clear that even getting 50 Dem votes is going be a fight.

    C’mon now, ease up on conservatives calling the Democratic Party the Democrat Party. Illiterate yahoos cannot be expected to know an adjective (Democratic) from a noun (Democrat) not that you need an adjective to modify a noun (party).
