Site Problems

Not sure if any Internet Explorer users noticed, but the blog has been crashing IE for roughly the last 12 hours. Yeah. That blows. I determined that it was a banner ad that was gunking up the werks. It should be all fixed now.

    Thank you, Bob. I run Firefox, but I’ve noticed (actually for over a week now) that the site was loading extremely slowly, and at times, if I clicked on a particular posting before loading had fully completed, the browser would crash.I thought it might be that banner ad (and if things were really slow I’d exit and retry, because the ad rotates and I’d get one that wasn’t as troublesome), but I figured ‘more power to you’ as far as ad revenues go…Anyway, thanks again.

    Ditto on Firefox loading things slowly. I hadn’t mentioned it before because I know it means revenue and it’s worth putting up with if it means the site sticks around.The fun part is the private insurance ads from Tonic. Teee heeeeeeee

    That is good.I have IE and I could not get on this site last night at all without it crashing. But now it is working. Thanks.

    I have Firefox too and had the same problems Eric did. I don’t know if you got my email, but I sent you one after the site made my computer freeze up. No matter; I’m glad it’s fixed now!
