Best. Healthcare. Ever.

The pre-Fox News Glenn Beck and Mrs. Beck underscore how Americans love their healthcare — that is, until they actually need to use it.

Adding… There was a point recently when healthcare reform was looking like it would be a cakewalk. That ended when the Republicans decided that a black president was unacceptable.

If GMA had any integrity, it would bring this out and show it again… and again… and offer Beck a chance to either explain that he was lying about his entire experience the first time around, or that he’s lying now about how we have the Best Healthcare in the World.

That ended when the Republicans decided that a black president was unacceptable.

No, that ended when a president with overwhelming public support and a senate with 60 Democratic votes decided that they needed to negotiate (read: capitulate) with the representatives of a rejected, racist, regional party — and then allowed a few angry old people to garner more attention than the vast majority of Americans who both support and need real health care reform. If this whole thing goes up in flames (and it’s looking very likely that it will), the fault lies with the Dems. Blaming Republican racism for the failure of healthcare reform is like blaming Katrina for four years of suffering in New Orleans — anyone with any sense would have recognized the potential for destruction, & would have taken the necessary steps to mitigate the damage, then respond aggressively & effectively. The first Dem “leader” who complains that “no one could have predicted that the Repubs would be angry, racist & disingenuous” should be fired on the spot.

Kind of off point but…That is Glenn Beck’s wife? She seems sane… and pretty. How does a pink, soft, oily nuthatch like Glenn Beck land a woman like that? Mystery.

Awww, widdle Gwen Beck was cwying? Poor widdle baby.Is it wrong of me to say that I hope he gets recurring ass-herpes of the most virulent strain?(And, incidentally, how awesome would it be if his wife left him for Van Jones?)

Darn you Bob, for making me have to listen to this man’s voice. I listened long enough to assess that he was a phony then, and he’s a phony now. I can name very few people in the world who garner my absolute loathing – but he’s one of them.QT

Lord Blankfiend I was kind of thinking it would be far more awesome for Van Jones to leave his wife for me. I’d love for him to slap me ’round the trailer for a while…It’s all about him. He doesn’t give a shit about anyone else. This whole crusade to out the entire administration as commies is a result of him losing advertisers. He didn’t notice any of these Red Bastards when they were being brought on board, he didn’t decipher any of that commie symbolism that festoons half of New York, he hadn’t even heard the term “oligarhy” until he started to lose advertisers over him calling the President a racist (that doesn’t hate white people, but has a deep-seated hatred of white people and culture). And he didn’t give a crap about anyone’s quality of health care until his own ass problems prevented him from whimpering his way off of a couch while people stood by rolling their eyes. Only then did it become an issue important to all of America.
