More Random 9/12 Crazy People

This hand-written sign underscores the Wingnuts As Victims theory:

crazy_unarmed_protester.jpg

How dare you make us act like crazy people! And next time we’re bringing our guns — and that will be your fault, too!

And the official tea party Batshit Mobile:

the_death_panel_car.jpg

I love the “Your Tax $” sign under the (crude and exploitative) photo of Terry Schiavo. I forget — which party was it that wasted congressional time and, you know, your tax money on getting between an American family and their doctors?

Lots of wingnuts seem to be latched onto this czar thing. They really hate the czars. Then again, if Glenn Beck did a whole show on President Obama wearing pants, there’d be wingnuts crapping their cages over all those PANTS! But during the Bush administration, we really sunk our teeth into the massive executive power grab that took place, but I don’t recall ever bitching about the czars. And Bush had a lot of them.

Also, note to wingnuts: czars controlled Russia before the Bolchevik revolution and the rise of the communist Soviet Union. One of many reasons why, say, disgraced wingnut radio host Bill Bennett had no problem being Bush 41′s “Drug Czar.” Commie.

And finally, looking at the wide array of photographs, I can’t help but to wonder: It may have been eight years ago, but I don’t remember “everyone feeling like this on 9/12.”

Speaking of which, if there’s another terrorist attack, there’s no doubt that this crowd would descend on Washington the next day to demand the impeachment of President Obama. Here’s proof:

Apparently Senator DeMint greeted the crowd with the line, “Ladies and Gentlemen: Welcome to Waterloo!” These aren’t fringe wingnuts. This is the Republican Party. White, crazy, racist morons.

Dipshits.”We want our country back.”I hope it burns like holy water thrown in a blood sucking vampire’s face everyday the president reduces nuclear arms, forms peaceful alliances, continues to stabilize the economy, restores our environment, and continues to re-animate the intended idea of equality, democracy, and national morality within the sound and compassionate guidelines of the proper role of government. These fools have no idea what they’re talking about. For a little perspective: On February 15, millions of people protested, in approximately 800 cities around the world. Listed by the 2004 Guinness Book of Records as the largest protest in human history, protests occurred among others in the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Syria, India, Russia, South Korea, Japan, and even McMurdo Station in Antarctica. The largest demonstration this day occurred in London, where 2,000,000 protesters (about 1 in 30 of the population) gathered in Hyde Park;Fuck them and their absurd petty grievances. The healthcare reform “debate” where all this lunacy is heavily directed and an open disgrace to the country and the world, is one that irrefutably boils down to this statement the President made while deflecting the waves of ignorance when he was pondering aloud about Teddy Kennedy during joint session: …”he was able to imagine what it must be like for those without insurance, what it would be like to have to say to a wife or a child or an aging parent, there is something that could make you better, but I just can’t afford it.”Real fucking heroes, these miserable sacks of Beck. And how much more will these functioning illiterates use 9/11 as Rally Around Republicans Day?Shameless and stupid.

The only thing that makes me able to sleep at night is the fact that my 19 year old son (who lives in Virginia & just joined the Army) and all – and I mean ALL – his friends are huge Obama supporters and think the same thing as you and I do of these fat, ignorant, pasty white lunatics; that they are a joke. They will eventually die off and their children and their children’s children will look back on them with embarrassment and shame.I hope.

  • roxsteady

Well put guys! These people are the most ignorant, racist and disrespectful bunch of asses I’ve every seen. They seem to have an endless list of grievances that can all be traced back to the ass kicking their party took by Obama and the Democrats lasy year. The rest are confederate flag waving, stupid slogans on signs t-shirt wearing, Medicare and Medicaid sucking, depend wearing, big gulp guzzeling, empty headed douchebags. They seem to forget that when Bush won, his side was allowed to govern because that’s the way it works when you WIN an election. Why do they and the media think that any of us who voted for Obama would even give a shit what they think or how they feel about the President? Obama’s 68 million voters clearly out numbered the 60 to 70,000 who showed up today, which was the crowd estimate given by the DC Fire Department. Fuck off losers! We don’t give a shit what you think of our President! We like him just fine!

This seems to be more of a celebration of utter lunacy than anything.Like I was telling a friend of mine just a little while ago… Idiots attract other idiots. This is basically a gigantic circle jerk of idiocy. The Republican Party is going to end up being nothing but the fringe. Everyone else is just not crazy enough for them. It’ll be a party of the 20%ers alone.

Conservatard republican’ts, our great national embarassment. These people, no doubt the source of the ugly American, make us all look like fools to the rest of the world and yet they dont care. It’s amazing how these people are all functionally ignorant, and easily led sheep, and yet they stupidly think that they are highly intelligent and know more than others.I feel sorry for anyone this deluded and divorced from reality, but I will feel no sympathy for their plight if they manage to get everything they have been led to believe in, because then we all will lose.Their attitude and outlook is nothing new, it is nothing more than a new version of the Southern outlook from the Jim Crow era, they thought that they could ignore the rest of the world as well. I think history provides the answer to dealing with these idiots myself.

oh by the way…totally laughed my ass of at “the batshit mobile”

  • roxsteady

It really is quite remarkable. They seem tone deaf to the fact that their ignoracne and utter stupidity and hateful attitude is extremely off putting and will not attract additional voters. That idiot Mike Pence actually told the crowd that they’re going to take back their country in 2012. Just how are they going to do that? By then they’ll be down to 10-15% of the vote and totally dead. It’s true that young people are completly turned off by their party. I couldn’t be happier about that.

  • roxsteady

I thought the same thing about that Batshit Mobile too Ashby! While it’s quite disgusting it’s also kind of funny in that it shows that they have some kind of political issues tourretts syndrome. They can barely fit in all of the crap that’s in their heads. They seem to really embrace their ignorance. They really revel in it like pigs in shit. Just stunning. I can’t wait to see Keith and Rachel’s take on this. I smell a Special Comment!

  • watchdog

The fact is Roxsteady, they actually think that the majority of people believe the same lies that they believe. They are told daily by limbaugh and his clones that they represent the majority but never bother to think about how Democrats or Obama got elected. As such they are convinced that they will WIN (the only thing they truly care about, winning period)in 2012. If the Democrats trounce them again in a third election (not too likely but it could happen), most of them will be compleatly confused as to how they could have lost, the rest will start whinning about voter fraud and may start some shit. They need careful watching.

  • MrBrink

They give protesting a bad reputation. It looks petty, ignorant, and shallow when they do it. Like they just opened up their liberal kids’ protestor-starter-kit grooving along and doing it by numbers.”Mama’s alright, Daddy’s alright, they just seem a little weirrrrd….”They’re killing Rock n’ Roll, man! They might as well have been burning their Beatles records.

  • roxsteady

If the Dems get health care done properly and jobs start to come back they will get crushed again. I really hope this happens because it will make having to watch all their antics well worth it. Another demoralizing defeat. They’d probably all be crying in the streets and lamenting once again that they want their country back. Blah, Blah, Blah. They really need some new material. This shit has gotten old and tired. Just like their party.

  • roxsteady

    Logging off guys! Goodnight!

  • http://tarackian.deviantart.com J M Ashby

This makes me wonder just how faw Fox News is willing to go with their promotion of paranoia and hatred. Will they go until a building is blown up?Will they go until some redneck takes a shot at a dem senator or rep? The president? Will they celebrate if any of those events happens, or will they realize the wrongness of their ways?I think it would take the threat of being shut down for Fox to shape up.

There is a book/website that deserves attention. It explains the pathology of these crazy people, why they’re so dangerous, and why it’s (nearly) impossible to reason with them.http://home.cc.umanitoba.ca/~altemey/I strongly encourage everyone to read it.

I’ve been getting a good laugh at the unhinged wingnuts ranting in the comment sections here;http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2009/09/12/the_extreme_republican_party/They keep insisting that it’s the left that has all of the dangerous extremists, and they do it by refering to Obamas birth certificate and constantly parroting Glenn Beck on ACORN.Wow, just wow.

  • Lord Blankfiend

You go to Worldnetdaily and the headline screams “One Million Storm Washington.” Not to be outdone, Drudge links you to an article that says, “Up to Two Million March on Washington.”What’s deeply troubling (aside from, you know, everything about this) is the fact that FOX is covering the march like it was a bi-partisan group of fiscal conservatives. They somehow managed to cover the event without showing any of the more overtly racist signs that were being waved. Which was no mean feat. Of course there was no mention in ANY of the media outlets that the whole crowd was just a sea of white; not a brown face to be seen anywhere. Not. A. One.For six months of relentless promotion, that was a pretty lame turnout. There were more people at Bonnaroo or Coachella. The only “celebrity” to show up was Chuck Norris. I don’t think we have anything to worry about. The simply don’t have the numbers to fuck with us at the polls. Period. So let them come out in the light and be exposed for what they are. This isn’t about fiscal conservatism; this is about these lunatics not being able to stand having a black president.

  • FIONA

Great stuff, the overweight, the obese and the morbidly obese ( with all the pre-existing conditions that go with it ) opposing healthcare reform.

  • eve

Remember when all the news outlets covered the anti-war rallies in DC with constant updates and live reporting?Oh, yeah. They mostly ignored those rallies.

  • emsique

Just remember that the Nazis (the real ones, you know, Hitler and those guys) started as a fringe wingnut group that nobody took seriously. They were noisy, dangerous and obnoxious. They spread hatred and lies and managed to take over their country and look what happened. These people look like a bunch of unhinged assholes, but remember who was in the White House not that long ago, and look who the Republicans stuck up there as the VP candidate last year.Anything can happen in politics, so it is vitally important that the Dems do a very good job governing right now, or else we could end up with some sort of Bachman, Beck, Palin, Pawlenty, Limbaugh nightmare that would make the Cheney/Bush years look like Camelot.

Wow, it’s odd that you mentioned the czar thing. I caught a ride home with my Hannity/Savage loving friend from work and he went on and on about exactly that. Obama has a lot of czars, czars for everything, that it was a way for him to have all these people that weren’t confirmed by Congress, and would not accept the idea that Bush had a lot of them, too.And he kept going on and on about people getting free health care. I kept saying, over and over, it’s not free, we’d be purchasing insurance just as we have to now, that it would be affordable. It would just not sink in. He’d then make the example “if the local grocery store decided to have a free day, all the people that never go to the grocery store would go and there would be no food left.” I kept repeating, it’s not free health care. He just wouldn’t budge from his line. Then he tried to start in on tort reform. I told him that if Republicans really wanted tort reform, they’d participate in the process instead of blocking it and add tort reform to the bill.He kept asking “How do can you purchase the insurance if you’re really poor or have no job under the mandate?” “There would be subsidies for people that were poor or unemployed” I’d answer. But then all these people would be getting free health care he rebutted. So I asked him again, “You’d deny affordable health care to 40 million people because a couple million might abuse it? And instead of instituting measures to prevent abuse, you’d rather not have the affordable care at all? Yeah, that’ll teach those poor people not to try and mooch off of our tax dollars.”They can’t be reasoned with. At all.
