Rockefeller Will Vote Against Baucus Plan

Senator Rockefeller, a member of the Finance Committee, has pledged to vote against the Baucus Plan because it lacks a public insurance option.

“There is no way in its present form that I will vote for it,” he told reporters. The Senate Finance bill, under negotiations for months, could be the focus of an ultimate congressional compromise on President Barack Obama’s top domestic priority.

Senator Kerry? Senator Schumer? Senator Cantwell? Will you have the guts to join Senator Rockefeller?

I just read about this, and I was stunned to see the Baucus bill reduces funding for CHIP. I knew Baucus was a piece of shit, but I didn’t think he was THAT big of a piece of shit. Where’s the outrage over cutting funding for children? Where are the protesters in their Medicare-funded Little Rascals incensed at the possibility of letting kids suffer or possibly die? What a guy Max is.

What would it take to get some committee reform?Baucus is basically playing the part of master-obstructionist here, and he is a senator from a state that has less people all together than the largest city in my own state, which is not saying much.

Time to hammer the email boxes of the rest of the senators on that committee.

I hope this bill is riddiculed mercilessly before it’s beaten to death. And this clown should never be allowed to be Chairmen of any other committe. Off topic, I read that, that bitch Blanche Lincoln is going to head the Agriculture Committee? Then I read today that she’s against Cap and Trade? I can’t wait to either get rid of these hayseeds or just pick up enough seats to marginalize them.
