The Full Wanksburg

Jon Stewart documents the constant variety of cable news wankery over the president’s Sunday show appearances.

The bit about Noonan was especially excellent. I had an idea for the worst cable news show in the history of cable news. Passive Aggressive! With Peggy Noonan and Joe Scarborough! A full hour of each host taking turns saying wholly obnoxious and ridiculous things, but using an even-keeled or sympathetic tone of voice.

Peggy Noonan is just so dramatic while she painfully excretes what amounts to total nonsense.

She loves to play the snobby elitist.

    Noonan is an insufferable bore.

Very boorish of Peg to bore us all by being on TV so often.

It’s like putting pigs in a poke out of their misery. My goodness!I like how “high yella” broham that resembles the president ever so slightly on CNN utters the subtly hostile, vacuously corporate meme about Obama’s offending the “fickle” corporate media swine by gracing their irrelevant Sunday morning programs with his presence. All from the comfort of the desk he sits at for three hours next to a fellow newsbimbo. The fourth estate has been overrun by the corporate Vanities. Ignore accordingly, or satirize mercilessly.

Does television media run the risk of becoming irrelevant by exposing us to boorish people like Peggy Noonan, Pat Buchanan, William Kristol and Bob Schrumm? These beltway talking heads have been wrong over and over and contributed to everything that IS wrong in government and our country. Why does anyone even want to hear what they have to say? I won’t watch George Stefanopolis anymore and I have to believe that Peter Jennings would be extremely disappointed to see what has become of this This Week. David Gregory is a poor moderator on Meet the Press–he doesn’t even come close to Tim Russert. And some of the questions he is asking lately are downright ignorant. What a disappointment!I wish Jon Stewart was correct when he inferred that the viewership for these weekend shows is low and mostly old people. Many people watch these shows thinking they are informative when they are actually just another arm of the propaganda machine.
