I’ll say in a non-snarky way that this was probably just what President Obama needed at this exact point. It shuts down the ‘see – the world still hates us!’ narrative from the Olympic loss.
Of course, the wingnuts will complain. And of course, their complaints will be broadcast over the media for weeks to come. That’s not a downside. It’s great when they complain about stuff like this and exposes them as the bitter losers that they are.
Congratulations to the President. Here’s hoping that Paul Krugman manages to corner him one day at the Nobel Prize winner’s lounge!
