Lying Runs in the Family

Regarding President Obama’s tribute to a fallen soldier at Dover Air Force Base, serial liar Liz Cheney had this to say:

“Bush used to do it without the cameras.”

Uh-huh. Bush never went to Dover. Ever. He never attended a military funeral. Ever. So I’m not sure what she means by “it” but even the “without cameras” part isn’t entirely true. He always brought cameras with him to Walter Reed (something which none of us begrudged him for). But he never once faced a flag-draped coffin inbound from Iraq or Afghanistan. Not once.

    Bush couldn’t even pretend to clear shrubs from his “ranch” without the cameras. Are you fucking kidding me, Madame Vader?!

    not doubting you Bob, but is it possible Liz knows something we don’t? I certainly never heard about Bush attending a military funeral but did he maybe?Even if Obama was doing this intentionally in front of a camera, it shows the country that this is what our leader, our Commander in Chief, should be doing. It shows he can face the consequences of his decisions. There can’t be anything remotely enjoyable about what he did. And I’m sure it will weigh on his mind every time he orders our troops into battle.

    You could see pain written all over Obama’s face in the video. The reason the troop-decision in Afghanistan is being so carefully thought out is because each death that results from these wars obviously weigh very heavily on his heart and his conscience.     Rogect8, very cool that you found that video. It’s been on my mind lately….Ever since I saw the incredibly stupid article from Politico entitled “What if George Bush Did That?”….I kept thinking of Pres. Shrub saying ‘….now watch this drive’. There is simply no comparison to Shrub and Obama…..Obama shows the world class and dignity every day.

    Liz is just as despicable as her father. Must something in the Cheney genome that causes people to be born without a soul.I’ve learned not pay attention to people like this. The headline could’ve read, “Obama flosses regularly” and people of her ilk would still find something to attack him over it. That’s all they know how to do. They are completely incapable of doing anything constructive.

    Neither Chickendick nor his mate nor any of their loathsome spawn have any empathy at all. It’s all about them. It’s possible what she MEANT to say, nastily, was “Bush met with the families without cameras”, which Bush frequently did. It’s more likely though, that, seeing Obama being credited, she couldn’t help alleging that Dubbya had done the same thing, better.

    Liz Cheney knows she’s lying when she says it. We don’t know she’s lying for sure for at least 15 minutes or so while someone fact checks her prattle.

    Lyin Liz, Lady Vader to Daddy Darth. I remember wondering how she felt with the knowledge that she owes her entire existance to her daddies cowadice, deliberately impregnating his wife so as to avoid having to risk his cowards soul in real combat. As I ask about other loud and whiny conservatards, what has this jackle ever done in service for their country? What have they ever done to help their fellow man or those less fortunate? Liz is her fathers daughter, a shameless liar and a coward, her ignorant oppinion is unimportant and she can go to hell with her father as far as I’m concerned.

    After reading some of the FBI interviews with Dick I am horrified to see that someone with obvious dementia was a “heartbeat” away from the Presidency.From what he couldn’t remember a year after it occurred I am amazed he could find his office on his own.
