Profanity Gate

This story from Politico is arguably the most ridiculous story of the year. And there are a lot of ridiculous stories. It details the Obama administration’s apparent “profanity” problem.

You know, I wish Politico would stop doing this shit.

Maybe Politico should go fcuk themselves.

Look, it’d only be a story if the administration was going around preaching family values and Christian fundamentalism — like the previous administration did. Otherwise, people sometimes use profanity. Suck it.

    Nice. Where were these people when Bush called that reporter a big time asshole or when he gave the video camera the middle finger, or when Cheney told another senator to go fuck himself, or when both Bush and Cheney promoted the biggest obscenity of all: the Iraq War?

    They got one thing right–there is a general roughening of discourse. Not just public, but private discourse. There was a time when I hardly heard anyone say damn at the office.
