The Hypocrites

Congressman Weiner posted a list of the 55 members of Congress who are on Medicare but oppose healthcare reform and the public option.

The ‘Get Your Government Hands Off My Medicare’ list after the jump.

One name that jumped out was of course Ron Paul. The Rand disciple himself receives socialized, single-payer medical coverage? How interesting. I wonder what Ayn would say about that.

Let’s hope we hear about Wiener/Grayson reading this list aloud on the floor of the House this week.

Bob:These are only the Republicans. For true bipartisanship you should really list the Dem’s also. Be interesting to see which of them are against the Public Option. Also, a few have been sucking at the guvmint teat for much longer, i.e. McNasty (son of Navy Admiral who benefited from guvmint healthcare as baby to present time), Sam Johnson, retired USAF.I am sure there are many others who were probably covered by some sort of public health care on the planets they came from.

Ron Paul is a clown. He’s a modern day Ross Perot. Does it srike anyone as creepy that Paul’s supporters are the idiots showing up at town halls packing? I wish these people would take a page from Cheney and just start shooting each other.

Raphael Kerns:This list was actually compiled and published by New York Congressman Weiner.http://girldujour.wordpress.com/2009/10/23/representative-anthony-weiner-exposes-55-hypocrite-republicans-who-are-currently-receiving-government-funded-government-administered-single-payer-health-care-but-dont-want-you-to-have-it/There are 151 against the public option, but only 55 of them are actually receiving those same benefits themselves. Which is what makes them the hypocrites.

I’m well aware of Congressman Weiner’s list. My point is that there are Dem’s that are on Medicare and may very well NOT support Health Care reform and I believe they should be called out as well.

Whenever they start whining over at FOX, the rest of the media starts up their “we’re not Liberal” campaign

Ayn would say he deserves it because he is wealthy and therefore a superior being.
