Have you noticed the new KSM photo?

Until now, every time Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was discussed on television, we’d get this picture:

The Drunken Ron Jeremy photo in which he’s clearly borrowed a t-shirt formerly worn by an elephant.

But now that we’re talking about bringing KSM to New York for trial and the Republicans are in full pissy pants frightened crybaby mode, they’re using this photo:

Wild scary eyes in full evildoer regalia. HEEELP! This crazy bastard will be ordering egg creams and blowing up subways any second now! Just look at his scary grinning face! AAAAAH!

    I hope this guy gets everything our justice system can throw at him.Having said that – I always had the feeling that the top photo was taken somewhere around waterboarding #162 or so. Maybe that’s another reason they’re using a different photo – how the hell is that going to be handled in court? I know that, prior to the torturing, he had confessed to his role in things, but still…

    OMG! I’d seen that photo of the guy with the long beard but, I just thought it was some other terrorist. He’s gone from looking like a homeless man to the evil head of a Mosque! Oh, and Bob is spot on about the that t-shirt. Who has a neckline like that? Maybe one of those guys that have gotten so fat, he hasn’t left their home in years and has to be brought out on a cherry picker, through a window that has been cut out. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEU!

    The heads keep saying that “they’re” bringing him to NY and that, with a civilian trial, he’ll get all the benefits & protections of the US Constitution affords citizens. This outrages them, yet confuses me. Would some kind soul please point out where in the Constitution legal protections are extended only to citizens? All this time I understood the term “justice for all” to mean “justice for ALL” rather than “justice for all citizens”.

    @MattThe photograph showed up on “Arabic-language websites” shortly before September 11 of this year. Apparently, it was taken by the Red Cross in July and sent to his family.

    The t-shirt photo makes KSM look like the kindly-but-gruff Italian fruit monger. “You alike-ah my peaches today?”
