I Meant to Do That

Sarah Palin told Bill O’Reilly that she intentionally “booted” the answers to questions from Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson because she was offended by the arrogance of the questions.

Uh-huh.

Clearly another lie. But what’s worse is that she can now weasel out of any difficult question using this excuse. In other words, she’s so deluded that the only legitimate questions in her mind are softball questions. An on-the-level question about whether or not she agrees with the Bush Doctrine — well, that’s just condescending to the little lady from Wasilla! Class warfare against the hayseed!

Let’s be clear about what she’s doing. She’s making it so that she doesn’t have to answer difficult questions. There’s no need for her to be informed now because the hard questions that require thought, insight or research are just plain offensive to her and her fanboys. That’s the precedent she’s setting up here. Hard questions = They Hate Sarah.

Adding… Bill O’Reilly doesn’t know what the Bush Doctrine is either? The other day, he didn’t know what the public option was. Seriously, has he had a stroke of some sort?

For Palin, a “gotcha” question is any query that can’t be answered by merely winking.

You know what’s nuts?! At the time of the interview I knew what the Bush Doctrine was…..I’m nothing special…..the anti-intellectualism that is behind her and teabaggery wingnuttia is dangerous to the longterm health of this country. What happened to valuing education and knowledge? Particularly as it relates to the American Dream.1) Maybe once the average white person began thinking the American dream was dead, they abandoned education as a means to get there2) Maybe our education system has failed so badly to educate people like Sarah in the most basic things such as logic, speaking and writing proper English, civics, and history that we doomed ourselves. Maybe an educated electorate was the key to our survival and enough of the populace has been left out dooming us?I personally think 1,000 years from now someone will write a book about the Rise and Fall of US, and they’ll list Sarah Palin as a sign of the beginning of the end.

What makes it unbelievably pathetic is that for her, What do you read? = Hard question.

“Gibson looking down his nose over his glasses…”?”It hurt Gibson with women”?”I didn’t know what the Bush Doctrine was”?Welcome to the Cavalcade of Stupid on Fox News Channel. Seriously, these fucking buffoons want to be taken seriously as journalists and a news organization and each one is dumber than the next. What a bunch of disingenuous, deluded fuckwits!

Sarah, is taking the American public for a ride,as said before. She can/will say anything to cover…..and she knows she will get away with it.Why? because she knows that her pundit /anchor followers will stick behind her and cover for her. Therefore when it comes to street smarts, she has game on!The only problem is that the people with the real smarts can see through her bullshit!I smile everytime she does her ‘street-smart shuffle’!!

I love Pee Wee Herman, and Sarah Palin can go fuck off. I have lost way to many brain cells thinking about her.

  • laddieluv

Yup. Knew it.Delusional.Narcissistic.Seriously grandiose mindset.Pathological liar.Twists anything to fit her agenda. No remorse. No sense of personal responsibility. And a distant parent figure.Seriously mentally ill.I’m going for bipolar with sociopathic tendencies. And anyone who drinks her kool-aid?You need help, too.Seriously.

  • roxsteady

I just wish he’d asked her to explain her call to sanction Iraq to punish Iran? Of course he wouldn’t do that because it would have further exposed this lightweight for what she is. A stupid hillbilly grifter who wasn’t even smart enough to school her daughter on birth control. I love it when they find these dumb ass women who say Palin is a role model for them. Really? She’s more like a role model for teen pregnancy. Nice going GRANNY!

  • roxsteady

By the way, am I the only one who thinks Todd Palin is a pussy? This Mr. Mom shit doesn’t usually play well with the Republicans and Conservatives. Even though he has a job, most of his time is spent with those kids, which turned out well if he was pinning away for grandchildren?

  • Big_Ben

Someone just needs to sit her down and ask her REAL questions. Just like FOX did recently with the President. Get right to the answer, no F-ing around. She will CRUMBLE.She will coast along until 2012 and then she will get hit in the face with a shovel of hard questions. Me, personally… I will LAUGH!!!I dislike her so much:http://printfection.com/yikes

  • Big_Ben

.Adding…Seeing laddieluv’s post above, I have to agree. I have been saying for the last year that she is a bonafide SOCIOPATH. She is deluded and she will lie with abandon. She _IS_ this definition:http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.htmlAnd enjoy my gratuitous plug won’t you:http://printfection.com/yikes.

  • scribblechic

Ms Sarah P is all about collecting cash from sheeple. Nothing more…nothing less. She and Fox have the same agenda. Any organization, pundit, magazine and congresscritter that sing her praises are doing so with a big ass collection plate with “Sheeple Give Here” stenciled all over it.Chick ain’t trying to be first lady Prez. She’s just gettin’ while the gettin’ is good.Don’t Hate the Playa…Hate the Game. (or so I heard some kiddies say)

Try reading what Cal Thomas has to say via Andrew Sullivan. These ‘supporters’ really believe that you can tutor little Ms Muffet into a presidency! Wow.Every time I read these blogs by ‘well-respected individuals’, I keep reminding myself that these were the people in charge in the good ole US of A!!!!!!!. ..(rolls eyes, shakes head!)

  • bibimimi

America needs a President who’s scared shitless of answering the really tough questions.

  • http://www.osborneink.com Matt Osborne

Yes, I do love her explanation of the Couric debacle. “I was offended by her condescension!” Because the question “what newspapers or magazines do you read?” clearly has an anti-Alaskan American bias.

  • http://zirgar.blogspot.com ZIRGAR

Everyone knows that questions have a deep seated liberal bias.

Matt,Your point about that “Condescending Katie Couric,” and such as, was underscored in another episode from Andrew Halcro. And also.

Three reasons I hate Sarah Palin:1. Fake. Nothing of her opinions are her own. They’re GOP talking points.2. Divisive. Enough with the “Real America” bullshit. We’re all Americans. Just because not every American has the same opinion as you doesn’t make them un-American.3. Blameless. Nothing is ever her fault. It’s Levi’s fault. It’s Charles Gibson’s fault. But if something goes right she’d be the first in line to take credit.

I didn’t know what the ‘Bush Doctrine’ was at the time. But I wasn’t running for office. (I didn’t think pre-emptive war was intelligent enough to make a doctrine, either)I’m not so concerned about the precedent as it applies to Palin, as she’s yet to give a press conference on national affairs, she’s yet to face an adversarial (MtP-type) interview. And even if she does run in ’12, she’s not going to get into any such situation. It will be called the “going over the heads of the media, directly to the American public” strategery. And the so-called MSM are only setting themselves up to be irrelevant with their deference now.
