He insists that President Obama never mentioned the public option during the campaign.

He’s lying.

But I’m sure Chuck Todd will find a way to blame this on the president.

    Yes, I saw MSNBC display a Lieberman quote to the same effect. Then the so-called liberal network carried on the conversation while pretending that Lieberman isn’t a fucking liar. Frustrating.

    How would he know what Obama promised during the campaign? Because as I remember it, his head was pretty far up McCain’s ass.

    I can’t believe, Bob, that you used that link to “prove” your point.All throughout it refers to a PUBLIC PLAN…….Lieberman is saying the president never mentioned the Public Option — and that may be correct.There can be many “public plans” — all different ways that the government can be part of health care.The Public Option is/was a specific proposal.The link you site does not prove your point or make your case.
