The Ex-Reality Show Doof

I’m wondering when the press will begin to point out that, while Sarah Palin is obviously prepping a run for president, she’s a complete flippin’ moron. If they’re not going to mention this, they’re simply just fluffing her book.

She’s nothing more than an ex-reality show celeb. Put simply: she’s only famous because she’s famous.

Adding… There’s a lot of discussion about her awful Couric interview. Palin herself told Oprah that it was a terrible performance. But what everyone in the press seems to forget is that all of her interviews were terrible. There was the “position flexible” interview. There was the thing about how the vice president is “in charge of the Senate.” And it all culminated with the turkey geeker fiasco. Couric was just one disaster in an extended series of disasters.

“She’s only famous because she’s famous.”And that’s just fine with the teabaggers.I would have bet money that she wasn’t serious about a presidential run, but when Keith pointed out last night that her book tour seems to be coordinated to focus on key swing-states, I started having doubts. I still think that if she lands the right TV show and makes enough bucks she won’t run. Like Ailes, she wouldn’t like the pay cut.Keith also pointed out that her involvement will pull the entire field of contenders to the far right. If that happens, it’ll be fun watching the NY-23 phenomenon taking place on a national scale.

Dude, the press loves the pseudo-celebrity. Look at Chloe Kardashian. What’s her claim to fame? What has she accomplished in life? She’s the sister of a woman that made a career out of the notoriety from a green, grainy sex tape.I think Fareed Zakaria was the only mainstream press anybody that actually critiqued Sarah Palin’s “debate” with Joe Biden thusly: “She spoke gibberish.” The rest fawned all over her, spoke of her holding her own with Joe Biden, in fear of some sort of low-wattage soccer-mom backlash if they had dared say what everyone actually saw.

That right, Nano. Because they all would have been accused of the “double standard” that Carrie Prejean was whining about. How many times has that idiot said, “If Sean Hannity or Bill O’Reilly said some of the things about Michelle Obama or Sonia Sotomayor that Keith Olbermann has said about me, they would be off. The. Air.”They attack the non-existent “liberal” media bias and the talking heads walk to the corner with their tails between their legs and don’t bother challenging that lie.But fine. Let them keep propping up Palin. Let her run in 2012. It’s a win-win. If she runs on a Conservative ticket she’ll fracture the party and the Democrats win just like NY-23. If the Republicans are stupid enough to nominate her, they’ll lose the Independents and the Democrats win. Sit back and think for a minute on a debate between President Obama and Sarah Palin. Oh. My. God.Do you think he’ll have to bone up on some winking and some fancy pageant walkin’?

God I’m sick of this woman. I shouldn’t have to hear anything about her ever.Besides, there’s real news out there like Levi Johnston’s johnson and the officer who didn’t single-handedly stop the worst terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11.

After Palin resigned, Peggy Noonan wrote the honest column that all Republicans should have written:http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124716984620819351.htmlOf course, she wrote it AFTER Palin resigned. While Palin was still in play, Noonan behaved like a good little GOP soldier and kept her mouth shut. It will be interesting to see what she’s says if Palin runs for President, now that she’s already BLASTED Palin publicly. My guess? She’ll become a good little GOP soldier again and keep her mouth shut, and no one will be allowed to reference this column.

Last night Chris Matthews said “look out romney, looking out huckabee, sarah palin is coming”Surly no one in their right mind actually thinks Palin could be voted into office. Gimme a breakPalin winning the republican primary would garuntee another 4 years of democratic rule. After 5 years of Palin jokes no one but the teabaggers would vote for her.

You know what I want? Just one person to ask Sarah on camera: “Are you going to run in 2012?”
