And doing nothing is not an option – the current situation is not sustainable.Try to remember that there aren’t 60 Democratic Senators and 60 is what is needed to get cloture.And before anyone jumps on me for capitulating or whatever, I’m not. All we need right now is to get a damn bill voted out of the Senate. There weren’t 60 votes for cloture so NOTHING was going to happen – the bill was going to die on the floor – without compromise and if ya piss off a spiteful Senator. That’s reality.The real action on HCR will happen in the conference committee & it would be good if there are at least 50 votes for something decent when the conference committee bill comes to a vote in the Senate.
