Bob, when Leno asked him what he’d done to drop the weight so fast, he said “nothing.” Which told me he’d either (a) had gastric bypass (b) gone on a crystal meth diet.I guess this just goes to show you that being able to afford whatever medical procedure or pharmaceutical you like doesn’t mitigate the effects of a lifetime of obesity and cigar-smoking.All that said, let’s wish the man a speedy recovery so he can rally the Birchers at CPAC.

Well he told the medics that we was on pain killers for his back. That brings up a few things.First, If Rush has such horrible back pains then isn’t it time to lay off the golf? I HATED giving up skiing, but when my knee was destroyed the pain was to much to keep it up.Second, let’s look at what most pain killers are – opioids. Overdoses of opioids can really resemble a heart attack – cool,clammy skin, respiratory depression, low blood pressure, extreme fatigue, etc. On top of that excessive use will lead to big weight loss.I wouldn’t be shocked one bit to find that Rush is shopping around for scripts again. If that’s the case then they need to prosecute him like anyone else. If they don’t and he ends up dying then the right wing talking point will become “poor Rush – he was yelling for help and the system failed him”.

You know what’d be great? If he spent a couple of days in the hospital, made a big spectacle of getting a clean bill of health, then walked outside, stepped into the street and got hit by a bus.

there’s got to be more to come on this.medicine for back pain… interesting given his background. Opiates addiction, if you listen to dr drew, take multiple rehabs. is he using again? his past is one of a drug seeking behavior where he is resorts to illegal activity? Fair question to ask if he is back on. (let’s just say it is more information than he, himself would need to ask the question about some public figure).Rapid weight loss while claiming to “nothing”? Something’s being hidden. We see what happens when he does “nothing” he puts on weight. What’s he hiding? There is shame when people resort to banding, that’s ok. But given his past behavior of drug use, could he be doing it with prescription drugs? again, if I had 400 million invested in him, I’d surely ask.and in case anyone thinks this is because of politics, think again. this has to do with his politics as much as my interest in the tiger woods thing had to do with his politics. nope this is pure rubber necking, tabloid-y, unabashed gossip interest. I am not one bit ashamed to admit it.adding, this is about his politics…I hope he has a speedy recovery because we need him to be the leader of the republican party. they may get someone with a grasp on reality to replace him.

Sorry—I will extend no such kindness or compassion to Rush Limbaugh. He has caused too much pain for too many people for too long.May he hasten to death’s door.

I will not pray for fat boy’s demise, nor will I pray for a speedy recovery for the bastard. I am in agreement with laddieluv above, fat boy has never contributed anything to anyone. The man has never done a single thing in his pathetic and worthless life to aid or help his fellow man.In watching the recent “A Christmas Carol” movie, when Scrooge was confronting his own death and peoples reaction to it my thought was; “what did you expect? when have you ever done anything to cause others to even care about you or the fact that you have died? What have you ever done to cause anyone to even care that you lived let alone that you are now dead and no longer troubling anyone.”When Limbaugh finally does die and go to hell, the left will celebrate and/or simply smile inwardly to themselves, the right will pretend to be grieved before they move on to the next demagog already trying to take fat boys place, and Limbaughs lonely ghost will wonder why his grave is never visited (save for a few souls who relieve themselves upon it), or why no one can even be bothered to remember him for any reason.No doubt there will be some lurking wingnuts who will call us all hypocrites or something about talking about the immanent death of fat boy, to them I will say; bite me! I am not so superstitious that I will not speak ill of the dead if said dead person was a worthless pig and a compleate POS. When Limbaugh finally dies I will not celebrate (although I may give a cheer), and I will hope that winged devils speed him to his just reward. If wingnuts do the same to someone they disagree with politically but whom has real-world worth I will call them on it, they can call me a hypacrite if they want, I will call them Dittiots.
