Limbaugh and Beck Masturbate on Haiti

These are easily two of the most ridiculous clips I’ve ever heard from these assholes.

First, Limbaugh accuses the president of using the military for “meals on wheels.”

Next, an obviously sick Glenn Beck thinks the president is “dividing the country” by responding so quickly to Haiti, but not quickly enough to the Underpants Bomber — as though any reasonable person would believe that these events deserve an equal response.

Let’s be clear here. The de facto leaders of the Republican Party think the president has reacted too quickly to a natural disaster. Too quickly.

Yep. Around half of this country is living in a realm of backwards delusion and fantasy.

What a couple of morons, I just threw up a little in my mouth after listening to the clips. And the thing is, their starry-eyed followers just lap this crap up.

  • ShelleyBee

I got as far as Limbaugh’s “So President Ob-” before I honestly could not take another word.

  • kansasdem

“Around half of this country is living in a realm of backwards delusion and fantasy.”That would be about 70% of Kansans. I’m stunned nearly every day at the shear stupidity ………. un-effing-believable :^(

  • Mike Schwartz

Don’t forget, it’s not even near half of the country. First off, only half of the country even bothers to vote, and that barely half the time. And less than half of that voted for the Rethugs. So as Mad as these morans are, they are a sad shrinking scaredy-cat minority. Oh, and really really dumb too.

Why on earth is the MSM allowing this fiction of “it took him 6 days to respond” to exist? If you want to say it was 6 days before he made a public statement then fine. Not true, but fine. But to act like he literally did nothing about the attempted bombing for six days is so insane that I don’t even comprehend how we got here.

  • eve

Responded too quickly. That will sell well with their bigoted, brain dead audiences –> it will easily translate to them as “he acted fast because the majority of Haitians are black.”These two are disgusting.

I don’t even know where to begin on this one, but let’s start here:1) This is proof that no matter what Obama does he will be criticized by the Right. If he had waited any longer to respond he would have been criticized for taking too long.2) According to the drugged out sex fiend, Obama said it costs $1 billion to send 1,000 troops to Afghanistan so we need to understand the cost of sending the military to Haiti. My guess is that it is considerably less expensive to send 1,000 troops 700 miles away on a disaster relief mission as opposed to 10,000 miles away on a war mission! It’s a subtle difference, I know. But it’s one someone with a sixth grade education and a love for war should understand.3) The Fort Hood and underpants bomber situations probably required a little…what’s the phrase I’m looking for…INTELLIGENCE GATHERING! You know, where you try to understand the facts and circumstances so you can speak intelligently about a subject. I suppose that’s just not a concept the Common Sense Solutions party grasps.4) A 7.0 earthquake hit the most impoverished nation in the western hemisphere. Millions of people will be affected by this event. So these asshats (one of whom claims to be a god fearing Christian while the other simply panders to the Christian right) criticize Obama when he acts in a manner consistent with someone who would proudly wear a WWJD shirt. You stay class Limbeck.

Limbaugh and Beck…America’s version of Lord Haw-Haw and Deng Xiao Peng.Actually, if you look at the Haiti situation, the timetable for ACTUAL aid reaching the masses is tracking about the same as that for Katrina. So in my book, America gets another big, fat “F” for response. The only difference I’ve seen in the two disasters is that CNN was determined this time to be getting in the way at the scene of the disaster immediately. Well done, CNN!In seriousness, I have two points to make. Number one, I don’t hear the Haitian people whining, and they had zero…mark it, zero warning that this was coming, unlike New Orleans, which knew something was coming for days in advance.Number two, natural disasters stretch any administration’s ability to respond. First, they rarely come with warnings, and if they do, you never know exactly where they will hit.I’m actually a bit surprised that you guys aren’t getting on Obama more for his lack of quick results in Port-au-Prince. Like I said, the only difference has been that CNN was there a lot faster this time.I’d give the current administration about the same grade I gave the Bush administration for Katrina, F.

To call Limbaugh & Beck entertaining baffoons, would be an insult to entertaining baffoons everywhere. Neither are funny, though it seems they try to be. They’re just a reflection of what has happened to the republican party. Instead of offering solutions, The republicans have become reduced to name calling & making fun of people. The right has gotten weirder & weirder, and scarier & scarier. They’re scary because there are people who do take their every word as gospel.

Ignorance is not only bliss, it’s delusional!

@PPP: Can’t speak much to the Katrina situation, as I didn’t follow the logistics of that as closely. But as far as Haiti goes, with an airport with three times as many planes at it and no fuel to get them out, a port that’s blocked, and unpassable roads, the fact that any aid has arrived at all is a minor miracle. The delay in getting aid to the Haitians isn’t a underestimation of what was needed, but a logistical challenge that has no easy solutions. (For example, if you can only get enough food for 1,000 people, do you bring it in and risk rioting, or wait to get more? I don’t know what the answer is.)

Stop harping on about the time factor, dammit. The Haitians, I can tell you are thankful that the help is coming fast and furious.I am so fed-up with this whole nitpicking shit on every damn little thing. Do you know how difficult it is to respond to something of that magnitude and devastation? The logistica are horrendous!I refuse to even mention Limbaugh and Beck’s comments….one can expect anything from those two, it is just a shame that they are talked about so much

And the whole idea of relief for Haiti as in any way a reflection or product of US domestic policy is stupid, mainly (though not entirely) because it ignores the fact that many other countries – you know, those funny-shaped blobs on the map that you usually ignore – are sending aid too.In the tiny, provincial minds of Beck and Limbaugh, though, I’m sure aid from Canada, Europe, Japan, and wherever else is all just part of the “Democrat conspiracy”.

Actually, if you look at the Haiti situation, the timetable for ACTUAL aid reaching the masses is tracking about the same as that for Katrina. So in my book, America gets another big, fat “F” for response. It figures that PPP would be a complete dick about the response to this disaster and comparing it to Katrina.Katrina hit ourcountry. There was absolutely no reason trucks couldn’t drive down with supplies, which they did by the way, and were turned back at the border.Haiti has one airport with ONE RUNWAY. Planes are currently stacked up three high form Miami to Haiti waiting for landing. Besides the fact that the air traffic control was damaged by the earthquake and for the first day they were landing planes using the cockpit of another plane was air traffic control. And getting on Obama for the “delay”? What does CNN have to do? Send a dozen people to report, while the US is trying to send aid and thousands of troops?Use your fucking head.

I’ve already said all that needs to be said about fat boy. Becky is just one of many clones, he’s an ignorant thug and appears to slowly be going mad.How much of his shtick is just an act is debatable, but I think his end game will be him on air with a gun to his own head.

We have the logistics to get aid directly to the people that need it. Unfortunately, most of the equipment and skill is tied up in Central Asia. Too bad.

Carl, the trucks were turned away because they would have been DRIVIGN UNDER WATER TO GET THERE!Get that!?Isn’t intertesting how you are so willing so forgive this administration for death? “Oh, we can’t possibly reach them in time”…Yeah..rightI’ve been a part of disaster relief. Why have we not been air lifting water? We could have dropped well over two million bottles of water since Monday. Why no airlifts dropping tarps and tents? Why no airlifts dropping food?Because Obama is NOTHING like Bush, right?Until People like Bob start telling the truth about the failures of search and rescue, thisd will remian a partisan issue.Let me spell it out: people aren’t DemoCRAT
