Step Away from the Budget, Senator McCain

Here’s John McCain last night:

During his first year in office, President Obama and Congressional Democrats have amassed a $12.4 trillion deficit that is growing each day.

As Josh Marshall wrote, yes, that’d be $1 trillion a month for 12 months. Which is ridiculous.

About that deficit:

…the FY 2009 deficit, which totaled $1.4 trillion, was already estimated to be $1.2 trillion when Obama came into office and “virtually the entire deficit over the next ten years” are due either to policies implemented under President Bush or to the recession, which began during Bush’s tenure, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

The more you get to know John McCain, the more you understand why North Viet Nam wanted to release him early. He is a truly despicable little man.

Yeah – a lot of that debt under Bush came from the bank bailout. You know – the very bank bailout that McCain “suspended” his campaign to help ram through.

And yet McSame was poo-pooing President Obama for “blaming Bush” last night when the president pointed out all of the crap that he inherited from Jr.I suppose its a bit like when the right was always blaming President Clinton for all the stupid things Jr did……….except our arguments are not baseless or based off of lies like theirs were.

RE: the deficit, I heard an interview on NPR this morning with John Kyl, another douchebag Rethug from AZ (my state)…..he also complained about Obama blaming Bush for inherited problems. I was yelling at my radio….I gotta stop listening to these idiots….my blood pressure can’t handle it.

McCain is losing his mental faculties rather quickly; as in the way the Reagan did when he went into hiding. It is pretty obvious from his performances on the Sunday morning shows that he is having trouble stringing a thought together and staying on point. He needs to stay out of the limelight.

ec I think you’re right. My god how lucky we are he didn’t win(President Palin….shudder!)And on that point, why is he on TV on a daily basis? He got historically and embarrassingly trounced. Kerry came within one state of winning the presidency and we hardly ever see him.

    Good question.
