WTF?

I guess in a nation with an overabundance of morons, this would invariably happen:

The tea party movement is mostly famous for its flamboyant fringe. But it is now more popular than either major party. According to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, 41 percent of Americans have a positive view of the tea party movement. Only 35 percent of Americans have a positive view of the Democrats and only 28 percent have a positive view of the Republican Party.

41 percent, eh? I wonder what that number would look like if these idiots actually had to govern something — heaven forbid. I mean, one of their leaders couldn’t even accurately spell “nigger.” Not only is he racist, but he was unable to accurately spell out his racism.

And screw NBC/WSJ for attempting to scientifically classify the parties with the teabaggers. One is a corporate-backed activist movement and the others are political parties responsible for governing. I’m sure any random activist group would poll just as well, or at least in the same ballpark as the teabaggers.

Our media is a bunch of morons for propping these people up as populists–when they are merely hate filled puppets whose strings are being pulled by their ultra right wing corporate masters.

That’ll be the same idiotic 40-odd percent that said they miss Bush.

Mr. Cesca,Such media coverage and messages, as you indicate above, are precisely why those Americans, who excessively rely on television broadcasts for biased information, would fare better if they learned how to turn off those devices and seek out a more active and constructive form of mental stimulation. As such a curious habit currently stands, little wonder then that, over a long term reliance on the boob tube, some viewers may begin to feel deeply lost as to what to do with themselves once the device has been turned off; their new found “sense” of reality and illusion, perplexing. Such an active scenario on the viewer’s part would unlikely yeild the sight of a birdseye view of a car speeding around curvy roads as a mesmerizingly deep voice says, “With a sealed interior and leather seats at speeds faster than light…” Instead, they might find themselves facing their own kid who needs help on their homework for school the next day, or they may decide to read a book and rediscover what it means to think about they read or what they’re told.Joel Smockwww.joelksmock.blogspot.com

Actually Bob, this poll was discredited the same day it came out. It sounds like the poll discussed last week on Rachel Maddow. I first saw it that morning on Morning Joe who was crowing about it. Then, that night Rachel took a look at the internals and found that of the 41% who favored the teabagger party 75% of them got their news from fox. The rest said CNN or MSNBC. I knew it would have to be something like that.

Yeah that poll was total crap. The respondents voted for Obama 40%-37%. It was also heavily 45-65 year olds. Even more interesting – 23% liberal, 33% moderate, 39% conservative. Not a fair representation of the electorate from the previous election, and makes it sound more like a poll Rasmussen would put out.http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/i/MSNBC/Sections/NEWS/A_Politics/___Politics_Today_Stories_Teases/091215_NBC_WSJ_Poll.pdf

Those slatternly tea party ladies look an AWFUL lot like the slovenly housecoat mobsters wearing ‘purple heart band-aids’ at the Republican convention in ’04.

Bob, come one. You can’t see BS when it’s right in front of your face? This is similar to biased outlets pushing the meme that liberals are turning on Obama.I keep saying, along with the Nielsen ratings, these polls are being slanted by corporate interests. Hardly a conspiracy theory, just when there’s an utter lack of transparency, there’s room for money to buy people out on the down low.

Bob, really? The WSJ is a Murdock owned ‘news source’. Is it necessary to prove bias in this poll, really?

  • http://www.bubblegenius.com pea

I’ll bet Lady Gaga would poll higher than the teabaggers. So what does that prove?

oh and hey, psst, it’s MORANS, remember, not MORONS.

“im sure any random activist group would poll just as well,or at least in the same ballpark as the teabaggers”….especially if they had endless coverage from the “liberal media”,not to mention another “news” channel actually running ads and otherwise promoting them round the clock.
