Final Word on Palin and Name-calling

Sarah Palin with Chris Wallace on name-calling:

Name-calling by anyone, I teach this to my children and you teach it to your children and grandchildren, too. Name calling by anyone is just unnecessary.

Again, name-calling, using language that is insensitive, by anyone, male, female, Republican, Democrat, is unnecessary. It’s inappropriate. Let’s all just grow up.

Literally seconds earlier:

They are kooks. I agree with Rush Limbaugh.

    Hey Bob, I think maybe you meant Chris Wallace? If I were Mike, I’d disown my son and then sue him for defamation of character, and the only award I’d want from the court is to make that hack change his name.

    Here’s what I find hilarious. Sarah Palin is a Fox News employee and yet she is the headline guest on their keystone Sunday talk show. Why not change their name to the Palin network?

I believe he’s over-reacting to the fact that there’s an actual propaganda-pushing, rabble-rousing, evil-intentioned media apparatus called “FOX “News” Channel that is perceived as legit in the American 21st century. Yes, I know this phenomenon is mind-blowing, but you must understand how hype works.Hype works the same way a magic trick does. The art of confounding while holding one’s attention.Sully needs to calm down. Palin is very smart, which is why she peddles her goods on FNC, tele-tabloids like ET and Access Hollywood, and Oprah.If Sarah Palin runs for ANYTHING in the political sense, the fact that she quit her governors’ post amidst a series of investigations will be brought up. Also, her husband’s shady professional ties and creepy demeanor will be brought up. Her constant reliance on duckspeak will be brought up. The intellectual fortitude (or lack thereof) of her supporters will be brought up. Her cowardice. Her bluster. Her…FOXiness.Now…you may believe that it is the sensationalist swine media dorks that promote her out of coercion from their right-leaning slave-owners and sponsors that I’m referring to in the examples above.No, no, no, no!I’m referring to the voters that outnumbered the GOPunks last time she was on a presidential ticket.That is all.

    Every time I hear her spine-shriveling voice it fills me with dread, but then I fall back on a few vital truths:1. She’s not drawing any supporters away from the progressive side. They were never on that side.2. David Plouffe stated that during the 08 campaign, donations poured into the Obama coffers after her every speech. He described her as their number 1 fundraiser3. A presidential candidate simply cannot dodge the media and expect to be taken seriously. A VP pick, yes. Top of the ticket, no. And we’ve already seen her crash and burn with every media encounter outside of Fox.4. Stewart and Colbert will never let her get away with anything.5. Not even the GOP wants her around any more. This gets more obvious every day.And the newest one for the list:6. The photos of her hand-notes were uncontested and will be around FOREVER.Feel free to make this pie higher.
