Rush Limbaugh Is Absolutely A Racist

Proof:

Imus was fired for using the word “hos.” Stern was heavily fined by the FCC for discussing a “blumpkin.” And Limbaugh is still on the air — on numerous radio stations that employ public airwaves. Yep. And the media is somehow “liberal,” right?

    I couldn’t bring myself to listen to 2 minutes of this bloviating cock nazi rant and rave, spewing insanity, lies and ego everywhere. Face it, he long ago lost any semblance of credibility on the race issue and every breath he takes now cries out, “I’m a fucking racist.” He’s a vile, pig of a man and I only use the word “man” here to denote gender not any positive qualities that the word “man” may entail.     I might add, I didn’t mean to insult real pigs by equating Limbaugh with them. Pigs at least fill a natural niche in the system, Limbaugh, on the other hand, has to prefabricate and manufacture bullshit problems to keep himself “relevant” and “necessary”.

    In case anyone forgot, and I admit that I did at first, last year Limbaugh said that Obama’s plan was to deliberately tank the US economy in order to force reparations. Limbaugh is obsessed with the idea of Obama paying reparations to black people. Hmmm, could it be because this president is…black? Could Limbaugh’s completely unfounded and unhinged assertion be racist? Yes.

    Okay, how is this racist? Because he mentioned reparations. Income redistribution, class envy, rick people getting stuck, just the usual right wing routine, far as I can see. He may be racist but it’s not actually in this broadcast that I can see, Bob.

    JasonM, racism is more than the “no-word,” and these comments in the video fit a pattern (see Zirgar’s comment just above yous). Bob’s done an excellent job of tracking the rhetoric.

    It took me a minute to realize what was racist about it and it is pretty subtle–most racism nowadays is subtle. Suffice it to say any time we use the term “reparations” here in the US we’re talking specifically about paying the descendant of slaves. And as others have noted this is an ongoing obsession with Rush.Which reminds me, I know a lot of people that listen to Rush (heck I live in AZ!) and they’ll spout off some of this stuff and they don’t even recognize that what they’re saying is racist. On their part it is a lack of exposure and education….on Limbaugh’s part? I think he’s just riding the money train and laughing all the way there. If there is a hell, then there will be a special spot reserved for him.
