Dan Quayle emerged from exile to give us this nugget of stupid about reconciliation:
"So, therefore, you have 51 votes in the House and 51 votes in the Senate. That is not what our Founding Fathers had in mind. That is not the constitutional process."
Who's the voting what now? 51 votes in the House? Is he talking about percentages? If not, of course the framers didn't have 51 votes in mind because there weren't 100 senators at the time.
Either way, Palin still wins on the nincompoop front. At the very least, I think Dan Quayle could remember to say "tax cuts" without a cheat sheet.
