Keep Your Government Hands Off My Medicare

Republicans are still exploiting the fact that some voters don’t know that Medicare is government-run healthcare.

And they’re still taken seriously as a viable party. In fact, people want to elect MORE of them this year. It confounds logic and reason. Yes, the Democrats tend to be spineless and they dither around a lot. But the Republicans are cynical, factually wrong, lying flim-flam artists who take advantage of their, shall we say, less than savvy base.

    It is very much like the difference between theists and atheists.Trying to organize atheists is like herding cats. The theists, however, are comprised of fundamentally two sorts: Weak minds eager to be given answers and those who offer simple answers while exploiting the sheep.

    I just spent a week in the panhandle of Texas. Can’t get any redder republican than that. The lies work so well because they don’t get any real news.The satellite package at my parent’s home only has FOX. No CNN and no MSNBC. The local newspapers offer up editorials from the likes of Michelle Malkin. The two local channels offer no alternative to FOX. One of them IS a FOX affiliate.
